Hey Banshee, just wanted to say thanks heaps for the SP release! Love it!
You Sir, are a genius! Thank you very much for the excellent advice!
Forgot to mention that the first thing I tried was to delete the mvstore cache file on the Wii.
Also, I tried a 2GB card that I put some songs onto and the same thing happened. The files that the Wii is trying to copy off must be corrupt? That is all I can figure. Is there a way to clear out whatever the Wii thinks it needs to backup to the SD Card?
I am also experiencing an SD Card issue. I have been using this Wii and SD Card together for a few years with no issue. Last night I loaded some more songs from the database here. Put the card back in the Wii and when loading the game it did the usual “do you want to save content to the SD Card?” dialogue. I said yes and it said it had to backup content from the system memory to the card. It popped up the screen where the bar normally goes across as it saves stuff off, except that now I get an error every time and it disables SD Card mode. I tried removing the new files that were added and even tried running a CHKDSK on the card. I still get the error! Any ideas? I don’t have another 32GB card to try, but I would think if there were a problem with the card, the CHKDSK would have found something?
Crazy to see someone posting about Goodnight Nurse here! Such a great bunch of Kiwi’s. I have been listening to a lot of Paul Dempsey lately, in anticipation of him finally releasing his second solo album next month.
Double post, sorry.
+1,000,000 for Goodnight Nurse and Finch! The Academy Is… and Saves The Day would be sweet as well.
Sweet! Thanks!
Hey TomGuy, thanks for posting here! I have played Bulletproof Heart, Hurricane, The Hell Song, Cute Without The “E”, and For You and Your Denial without issue. I attempted to fix the audio for you, but failed. Super stoked that you’re helping out with this! Thanks a bunch!
Ok, I figured it out. If you download the Wii version from the “Legacy Database” it works fine. I was pulling the X360 version from the new database. Didn’t see the other one til this morning. Thanks for the help!
I only see xbox 360 versions of those songs in the database. I converted them in the standard way. Are there Wii files someplace else that I missed?
Metallica – King Nothing and No Leaf Clover stutter. I’m going through all of the Metallica songs I’ve got right now.
I did download The Customs Manager Tool that you created, but I couldn’t quite figure out what to do with it. I’ve been playing RB3 on the Wii for five years now, but only started doing the customs a week ago. I’m not really sure what most of the stuff is, but it’s very impressive that you all can do this!
I’ve always used RB DLC Manager to move files back and forth onto my sd card. I found once I started putting customs on my card, it broke the app. If anyone else uses that app and had the same problem, there is an easy fix. Temporarily rename the sZFE folder, then load the app and move your files around, when you’re done, close the app and name the folder back.
Rushfan2112, I want to thank you for suggesting Rush! I didn’t think I knew any of their songs, but I found six that I’d heard before and was had a lot of fun playing them all. I attempted Moby Dick, but I only got 96% on my first try. I’ll have to practice that one a bit, but I do like it. Metallica – One is one of my all time favorites. I highly suggest it if you don’t already have it.
