I’m just messing around with the RB3 Pro Guitar Trainers. I got the MIDI files so that I could look at the charts to get a better understanding of how it works but the channels and velocities doesn’t match up with what I have read online about pro guitar charting but I can see that the midi notes do match with what is on the original track in-game. I’m just trying to get into this charting stuff and I kinda got an idea on how charting for guitar, keys, drums etc. work so I’m just messing around with it and poking at it with a stick atm in order to learn about it.

Wow thanks a lot raynebc! I kinda got a better understanding on how it works technically but I can’t really get it to work practically. I have a few tracks with pro bass/pro guitar charts on so I can see how it looks but I can’t get them to work properly. I’m kinda just messing around with Reaper. Does anyone have experience with pro charts in Reaper?
