Thanks,
so the sysex are similar to the song start and song end “lines” in the Events track? You just drag the sysex start to the beginning of the note, and the sysex end to the tail end of the note? And this will translate in phase shift?
So basically when I click on that bumpy tab that is in the picture, it will present a sysex option where you enter the “sysex code” for things like open hat, or rim shot, and then it will create a visible “line” that you can drag for “start” and “stop”. Ill try this out when I get home
Thank you guys so much! I will try these techniques tonight when I get home from work. I am very excited that I can do this in reaper. And I do always create a rb3 custom while i’m at it. I will upload a bunch to the customs pretty soon. Seems like I could update the rb3 template to include a new track for phase shift authoring (drums). Perfect!
Onyxite, I will try this when I get home, but once you select sysex as you suggested will it create a new lane similar to the ones numbered in parenthesis i.e. (41) (42) (43), and then I could potentially enter midi notes for the particular sysex codes? Is that possible?
