I don’t think my poor little flash drive will be able to handle this many songs, but i’ll do everything I can to fit all the 70’s stuff on there, especially the 2 albums. The lamb and selling england are two of my favorite albums of all time.

I was thinking the same thing. Obviously Kingston contracted C3 to create this monstrosity to sell more USB drives. Congrats on your windfall C3. Bunch of sell outs. /sarcasm <img decoding=” src=”/wp-content/uploads/invision_emoticons/default_SA_biggrin.gif” />

I have 2 “nemesis” songs that I’ve been working on for about 6 months now. I was quite new and inexperienced when I started them and I keep revisiting them as I gain experience.

Magic Power and Fight the Good Fight. At this pace, you can expect them around 2018. Hopefully someone else can fulfill your requests long before then. There are so many subtleties on the drums on Fight the Good Fight it just seems forever undercharted and my guitar chart is a mess. Work will continue though and hopefully I’ll get it sooner rather than later. Personally I’d rather it have the C3 treatment.

I have done this song but really got stuck on the tempo map at the end of the song and the guitar was above my pay grade. So if you want to take a look at my work in progress and compare it to yours, here’s the files.

FWIW, the guitar kicks in at 2.3.5 and that puts the first crash at 6.1.0

I haven’t had this problem either and believe me, my understanding of reaper is remedial at best, but can you remove the off-line track, then drag and drop the ogg/mp3 file?

Here’s an update to December. Bass now included and full reductions. Thanks to Hecta for the bass chart and for allowing me to use the multi tracks. Unfortunately there was too much distortion on the tracks so it’s not multi-track. But the charts were done using the multi tracks so they should be a little more accurate. Any issues just let me know.

So has Eat it, for that matter.

So I wasn’t wrong, just late.

“Version” includes the full range of remixes, covers, parodies, etc. yes

Interesting that you would include parodies.

    Beat It – Michael Jackson

    Eat It – Weird Al

But something tells me I’ve already played Beat It, maybe it was on GH and not RB.

The holier-than-thou members on the RB forum think we are hurting the chances of any artists allowing HMX to use their music.

The co-founder and CEO of HMX thinks it’s “AMAZING” what we’re doing. He said as much on Reddit

Having said that, I doubt HMX would use any of our charts because most songs don’t use stems. And while the charts produced on here are great, stems make the charts more accurate and I don’t think HMX would want to release, on purpose, anything that isn’t 100% accurate.

    Exaggerate much?

Sometimes you just need to do a little searching to get the songs you want. Enjoy!

Thanks guys. I forgot to mention that there are very few “crashes” on drums so the natural overdrive activation spots are few and far between. I had do to a little improvisation where some open hi-hat hits are the activation points.

OD fills don’t have to land on a Crash, they just have to land on a note and preferably land on the first note of a new 4 beat 4 measure repetition (assuming the song is in 4/4) to make it where a drummer would most likely put in a fill if improvising in real life

Thank you. Since when I play I don’t use fill lanes, I didn’t even think of that. Of course that’s probably in the docs somewhere and I failed to comprehend it.

If there is nothing else playing during that part then why not chart the bongos? Bongos are drums too

Pretty much my feeling too just really wasn’t sure. Late in the song both drums and bongos are playing so I was just kinda over thinking it and trying to keep it consistent.

Question for drummers and I really don’t expect many answers but I’m just trying to get a feel.

Currently finishing up a song by a band that I have already released another song for.

Parts of the song have no drums but during those parts there are bongos. Would you prefer the bongos be charted to the drums or just leave them out all together?

Probably gave the song away but oh well.
