Can you upload your NAND used with Dolphin? It can be cut down a bit if it helps uploads. There could be a problem that isn’t apparent from these descriptions.

I’m using the NAND in the opening post here.

and you have you tried, not installing all at the same time, but 1 by 1? it is really tedious but it may work with any dolphin version

you will have to re-do a NAND tho, or load a new again like i did if you have a real NAND

then just install 1 dlc, open, save the songs, close and keep doing like that

I remember for me it crashed between 500-650 songs

I’ve tried adding one-by-one for 00000009 onward and it still doesn’t work. My Dolphin just stops working (either of them but in different ways) when 0000000F is approached.

Doesn’t help that my packdlc.bat is apparently bugged compared to how it is for other people too—it can’t process many songs, only about ~10 or so assuming they’re not too big, or it crashes.

Didn’t say you were lying, it just doesn’t work for me. No idea why.

Ishiiruka is just as dysfunctional and does the same things that the developer versions of Dolphin does for me. Just tried it.

I just tried that version, it doesn’t crash but when it loads the song list it deletes 0000000F.app and then proceeds to not load almost all songs before 0000000F.app for some odd reason.

Which developer version did you use?

in reply to: [How-To] Playing Customs on Wii #491473

All it says is 5.0. I tried an older version (4.0.2) and it has the same problems.

What do you mean about the app files, by the way? And how could I fix that?

I see in a thread from May other people couldn’t get this to work either. To my surprise they say to just “pack the meta/song folders as much as possible”. I find that odd because packdlc.bat doesn’t work after awhile for me, roughly 300MB file-size or 13 songs or so, whichever number comes first.

How would I correct a problem with the ticket? I’m using the system files in the OP.

    Dolphin 5.0.

The Loading/Finding DLC loop does end after about an hour… with an emulator crash, because apparently it’s starting to do a memory leak or something. I’m not really sure. Next time it boots up, same deal.

Skipping ahead to ANY number doesn’t work. Even tried into the 200s… nothing, the songs don’t appear.

Why can’t I add any more song packs after it gets to that awful 015_0000000F?

in reply to: [How-To] Playing Customs on Wii #491437

If you’re on Dolphin, I don’t think the BIN files pertain at all to this. Since Dolphin also expects sZAE, then at some point the sequence is going to break because sZAE is an official content generation. If you’re on an older version of Dolphin, you can just pack as many customs as you want into one slot and you shouldn’t have to manage multiple slots. If you’re on a newer version, then you may have to just skip that slot number.

I have no idea what .BIN files you’re talking about. It’s still not working even with using the correct hex and decimal numbers for both parts of 0xx_000000xx.

015_0000000F and 016_00000010 causes the same problems that 015_00000015 and 016_00000016 does: an endless loop of Finding Downloadable Content > Loading Downloadable Content

Skipping it ahead to 17 and 18, respectively, does nothing, the songs simply do not appear then.

    What am I doing wrong?

in reply to: [How-To] Playing Customs on Wii #491294

Yes, it was. Except now that I’m up to 00F, no new songs can be added.

in reply to: [How-To] Playing Customs on Wii #491292

I would have to go back and see what I had in those .apps to remake them, but no, I haven’t. It was still working properly with those.

Well that fixed the problem of RB3WiiPackTool crashing (not sure why it was crashing period—it seemed to accept 009_00000009 and 00A_0000000A and so on properly) but Dolphin still enters an endless Loading and Finding Downloadable Content loop

in reply to: [How-To] Playing Customs on Wii #491278

So I’ve been adding customs to Dolphin in batches (some songs per time) and it worked fine until I got around to 0000000F.app.

First, it’s mired in problems with RB3WiiPackTool as well:

    00F_0000000F_custom_meta
    010_00000010_custom_song

    RB3WiiPackTool completely errors and doesn’t make a packdlc.bat.

If I made one manually, looking like this:

    @echo off
    u8it 00F_0000000F_custom_meta 0000000F.app -pack
    u8it 010_00000010_custom_song 00000010.app -pack

    copy /Y 0000000F.app “DIRECTORIESDolphinDLC-Filestitle0010005735a4145content”
    copy /Y 00000010.app “DIRECTORIESDolphinDLC-Filestitle0010005735a4145content”

Then when RB3 starts on Dolphin, it enters an endless loop of:

    Finding Downloadable Content
    Loading Downloadable Content

    Why isn’t it working anymore?
