How would I boot this to IOS 249 on an SD, because Neogama doesn’t have the option to select the IOS other than the ones I listed above…
I’ve tried the options given in Neogama, cIOS, IOS 36, and IOS 61
I’ve gone back to trying to get this to work after a brief hiatus for finals and I can’t seem to get it to work still. I’ve been loading it off of Neogamma, it seems everything is installed correctly, and I’ve tried changing variables like console id and so far I keep getting 2 errors. Corrupt downloads or failing restore content to the system’s memory. I’m quite stumped and would appreciate any help
I had the same error as you, and I fixed it by using Neogamma to launch the game instead of the standard disc channel. Are you using disc channel?I’ve been using the standard disc channel
For the sZFE and other similar WADs, use WAD Manager to install them. Those should ask for the IOS at first. However, the loading also matters. Neogamma for disc loading and a USB loader for loading from a USB drive backup.I see. My question is what is sZFE, I’ve seen it’s mention here but I don’t have it installed and it was never mentioned any where else, let alone with a download attached.
I’m using WiiMod as told to in the guide to softmod and it doesn’t ask me what IOS to install as, it just installs it. For the numbers I’m using the same numbers as in the tutorial 054_00000036 for the _meta and 055_00000037 for the _song.
I’m not very clear on what you are asking. All I know is I have been following the instructions with a song I downloaded from the C3 song database that is Wii compatible. Sorry for my nooby-ness I just don’t follow with what you mean by “installing under IOS 249.”
The Console ID is different than the one I’ve been using, however using it still doesn’t make the CDLC work. It gives a different error however.
I got the check, what should I be looking for?
How do I do a syscheck?
I got it off of my nand backup in the keys.bin.
If the issue is wad’s what would I be missing?
I downloaded mine from here http://static.wiidatabase.de/FSToolBox.zipOkay I got it to work… I just didn’t have it in the right folder. I got the songs to mount properly but RB3 came up with an error saying something along the lines of licenses being deleted from the Wii System Memory… I’ll try removing my existing DLC from my Wii’s private folder, but do you know what causes this issue and how to fix it?
Wich key? Common or console ID? Common-key file should not have an extension.Common
*EDIT*
I removed the extension and the bins generated. I’ll try running them on the console.
*EDIT 2*
Yeah, no dice… and FSToolbox still won’t load on HBC
Try running pre-alpha song packer tool that StackOverflow0x asked me to run few posts back. Just put it in packer folder. Thanks, it says that the key can’t be .bin, what does this mean because the key generator made it as a .bin and that’s the only state I’ve seen other people use it in. Is it not supposed to be a .bin?
Hi, Caleb, you probably deleted 00000026.app in packer folder as I did when cleaning apps. Put it back from the original zip and .bins should be created.
Nope, I just checked and in my most recent attempt it was still in the folder
I’ve been having issues with getting the customs to run. I went through the softmodding process with no issues or errors. I got to the packing DLC part but when I went to load the songs, I got some error saying they were corrupt. So I re-did the process. Turns out I forgot the common-key, but now with a common-key the .bin’s won’t actually be created. I have my console ID in properly, the paths are right, the common-key just makes it break.
Also as a side note, I can’t get FSToolbox to run
Any help is appreciated! ” src=”/wp-content/uploads/invision_emoticons/default_SA_biggrin.gif” />
Thanks,
-Caleb
