^Same issue as him. Downmixed an encrypted multitrack file to guitar.ogg. Made a 2 backing channel and the rest is just a silenced wav files. However when try to play it, it freezes at loading screen.

The resulting .ogg file from ps converter is 48000 hz, and wii and rockbiink has a limit of 44100? could that be the problem?

hi people! Had to register to express my deepest, warmest THANKS TO YOU ALL for everything!!!

I stumbled onto this site about 3 weeks ago. Amazing! The programs, songs, information so much. I now have over 650 new songs on my wii! 99% work perfectly off my Sd card. Multitracked ones are the issue in all cases. Still trying to get a emunand going & just started playing with rockbiink. Although after typing the SZFE file name about 300 times . I cant stop typing ‘F’ in the dta file even for SZGE now! lol!

Anyhow StackOverflow0x, big thanks especially to you for all your hard, great work on the wii! Just AWESOME man!

I feel like a kid in a candy store with his mothers credit card!

Eventually i hope to be making my own, but this is all new to me, and I had to learn how to do everything from scratch. Never had a reason before & being old(56) it can sometimes take a while for the brain to register. lol. Alot of information is very scattered on the internet for wii in general and obsolete or dead links. so i really have to double check to see its the latest. So one step at a time. ill figure it out eventually. I’m in no rush. Been playin strong since 2008!

            Peace!

Wow,this man sure is grateful for StackOverfl0wx, like every one of us. Thanks Stack for all your hark work in the wii scenario. The 1000 song limit bypass is by far the most useful cheat. All your tutorials, help, etc. Thanks for everything, mate.

So, funny thing actually. The DTA is scanned for instances of “000” which would imply the path hasn’t been changed. Since the song uses “1000” in its name, it messes it up. What you can do is edit the Xbox DTA with C3 CON Tools to take out the number, then try converting it again. Honestly, a simple internal name like “onethousandmiles” would have sufficed without all this bloat that can cause problems. But that’s just my opinion.

If you haven’t tried it, try my Save Scores Viewer to erase unused or outdated scores so you can start saving scores properly again.

I change the number to “onethousandmiles” as you said, but when converting to wii, all the files (midi, album, milo, etc) are named with the 1000 number, i just have to rename them? will doing make the custom works just fine?

k, im ready, lets play, i will be searching for a lobby and find you. I just have to get some overdrive and deploy it, right?

Difficulty is entirely up to you. The main purpose will be for you to cue the Overdrives since Stack’s Autoplay cheat doesn’t allow overdrive to be activated. So whatever means (difficulty, instrument choice, etc.) you need to collect Overdrive energy for deployment will work just fine.

Thanks in advance! Once connected I’ll choose the songs that need the boost and we’ll get crackin’!

Soory for this silly question, but do you have customs? especially C3 customs? because i want to try them online to see if i they work online.

Also, to the Wii RB community, I’m only 8 autoplay Pro Drum songs away from earning my last Goals for the entire game, and just need someone to cue Overdrives for me in Band play. Anybody want to play online with me (“Jeve”) to complete this final stretch?

i can help in a few hours, but tell me, do you need someone who plays on expert? i can only play expert on guitar, E,M,H on the rest of instruments…

                        Can anyone help me?

I have a problem with this song:

I play customs on usb, the thing is, i merge this song along with others using c3 wii converter merge tool, all songs merge fine except for this, because the song path in the dta is wrote “dlc/sZAE/377/content/songs/VanessaC_1000Miles/VanessaC_1000Miles” and when merging the program changes all the 1000 number in the dta to this “dlc/sZAE/377/content/songs/VanessaC_1377Miles/VanessaC_1377Miles” (thats the meta pack number), well i tested the song and obviously it didnt work, so i renamed it back to “1000”, but when testing in my wii, it still not working, it shows a blank album art, no preview, and when choosing the song, it says: A Thousand Miles (v0.8b) cannot be restored to wii system memory…

BTW, i already delete song cache.

Ok, so I decided to try the direct Wiixplorer method and took title.tik from the packer folder and renamed it to 735a4645.tik I then put it on my sd card. Loaded wiixplorer, navigated to the sd and copied the tik. I went to nand:/ticket/000100005 and attempted to paste the tik and got an error saying “failed moving some item(s)” I think this is an error on wiixplorer’s end but its still an error.

Did you enable nand writing? you need to do that in order to manage wii nand files

Heads up that the issues with “Dull Life” and “Everybody’s Changing” are now fixed. Redownload from the Legacy Database for the new version.

                            Thanks, m8!

and you are totally right, apologies for the mistakes in my comments, so, what could be the solution? rebuilding the custom again using magma?

I dont wanna prove that i know something you don’t know, you obviously know A LOT that i can know, i was just saying that you can use rb dlc tools for the mogg header, but you are right, i’m not helping with this, so i guess i will not post any more comments.

No, you can’t. A mogg file is an ogg file with Harmonix’s proprietary “mogg” header in front of it. Audacity ignores the mogg header and skips straight to the ogg header and reads from there. Audacity can’t save to .mogg, it’ll save to .ogg. And then you don’t have the mogg header, which in turn means the game can’t pause/unpause the song without losing sync. And all Rock Band songs are multitrack, in that they all have multiple channels. Customs labeled “multitrack” have different audio in each channel, whereas normal customs have silent channels…but the channels are there and are needed by the game. If you take the Stairway to Heaven stereo ogg that Phase Shift converter gives you, and you change the name to .mogg without adding a mogg header, the game will crash. If you added a fake mogg header or the mogg header from another song, the game will still crash. The only way to end up with an audio file that the game won’t crash with, it’s to have Magma generate the correct mogg file with the proper file structure and the corresponding mogg header.

forgot to tell that you can convert to mogg using rb dlc tools
