What do you refer with Reductions: Partial in August Burn Red?

 

Partial being CAT, I didn’t really look over them to see if they’re actually any good. This is something I’d look at upon request.

Any way to get a 1x drums chart on the August Burns Red?

 

The one in the database is 1x! Just edited the description of it with the 2x since the multi link feature isn’t working yet.

One of my first customs ever done, fixed up so that it’s tolerable. The drum chart’s probably the best thing here, but it should be fun all around at the very least.

Got caught up with some family emergencies these past few days and hadn’t had a whole lot of time to work on it. I’d say that I’m 75% done with it, but I’ve got work until 7 today. If you’re cool with reviewing it tonight, I’ll have it up after work. I’m planning on throwing down on it during my lunch break to compensate for the time I’ve missed.

 

Just so you know, the pitched vocals are in the current RPP [HARM2 and the HARM3 is just a higher echoed harmony], and I’m taking extra care for the talkies as far as rhythm and placement, so taking a pass at it earlier might still be worth it.

I appreciate the sanity check, although I do wish it would’ve came in a day or so ago, or at least that I would’ve got more playtesting so that these changes could’ve been made in steps. I’m going to work on it now and get it all done, but it’s really just upsetting that I tried to do everything on time and orderly and it’s still down to the wire. Nevertheless, thank you for taking the time to do this.

Added in the venue, so everything’s pretty much finished. Anyone else wanna playtest this or should I throw on the Ready label?

Thanks everyone for taking the time to look at the song and for your input. I’ve fixed all the capitalizations/typos and other general fixes on vocals that were brought up.

 

The Djent-y riff at 0:33 is wrong. The Oranges sounds like they are the same pitch as the Yellows, also there should be no sustained notes during this riff as it’s all palm muting.

I did the other guitar changes but this one I don’t get. If I’m not mistaken, the orange notes are an octave higher than the yellows, so the riff makes sense to me. The tab I checked for the song also shows those notes as being higher.

 

If I may ask, why not have the WIP files hosted in our server?

I figured there was some sort of size limit or something for non-admins, but I switched ’em over and will use keepitfishy in the future.

The capitalization issues I don’t understand, every phrase begins with a capital like it should — is it because my phrases are too long and in game they get chopped up and look like they’re not properly capitalized? I ran CAT to check that before uploading.

 

I feel like there isn’t much of a way to get around the identically sized talkies since the lyrics are so tight together. What would you suggest I do to them?

 

I also went through again looking for typos and only found a forgotten apostrophe, it’ll get changed when I upload dryvox in the near future.
