KloporteParticipantInspired by this thread from RB official forums. I thought this forum is full of great customs, but what about your performances on these ?
” src=”/wp-content/uploads/invision_emoticons/default_SA_biggrin.gif” /> Of course it concerns any kind of victory (5-starring a song, passing without no-fail mode, FCs,…) on any instrument
” src=”/wp-content/uploads/invision_emoticons/default_SA_wink.gif” /> Let’s begin:
Propane Nightmares (Pendulum), sightread FC on XProDrums today :
In The Fade (QOTSA), FCed it a while ago :
I also FCed songs such as Aerodynamic (Daft Punk, XGtr), Peaches en Regalia (Frank Zappa, XProDrums), The Lost Art of Keeping a Secret (QOTSA again, XProDrums), Snot (Snot, XBass). I’m hoping for a No One loves me, neither do I FC (Them Crooked Vultures) on XProDrums next, I was pretty close from doing it today
” src=”/wp-content/uploads/invision_emoticons/default_SA_cheeky.001.gif” /> What about you ?

MemberI stopped caring as much about scores when I realized your custom scores tend to reset whenever your library changes. Or at least mine do.
I’ve been slowly beating my scores for 25 or 6 to 4 and 3’s and 7’s, since I use those to test out any used guitar controllers I get from Craigslist/flea markets.

InactiveWell… If I saved enough Overdrive for the guitar solo, I can pass Metallica’s “One” without using no-fail… However, if I don’t. I’ll fail during the guitar solo.
But as for other “victories”. I don’t know. How hard does the song have to be?

OddbrotherParticipantHow hard does the song have to be?Depends on either you or your intended audience.

Lowlander2ParticipantI’m trying to get back into OMBFCs. Here’s one of
. Not a difficult song on anything but vocals, but I was majorly impressed with myself; this was the first song with a disco beat I was able to FC.
I also snagged Who’s The One by Winger (still have to compile the video) and I’m currently working on the Silent Hill theme, but that guitar is not kind.

Proud you did so well on songs I authored, man!
” src=”/wp-content/uploads/invision_emoticons/default_SA_smile.gif”> Also, kudos on those Winger’s vocals, I look forward to seeing the video.July 3, 2014 at 11:15 pm #423992
Jimi369ModeratorIt’s not so much a victory as a relief but I finally passed Brianstorm (Arctic Monkeys) without failing on vocals. I really struggle with A.M. songs even though the difficulty for vocals isn’t listed as being extremely high. Same with Suffragette City (Bowie).
Got back the gold stars for A Day in the Life (Beatles) after a score reset.
Gold starred My Baby Just Cares for me (with apologies to Nina for the quality of my mewing).
On the non customs side I unexpectedly crowed my way to gold stars on Somebody to Love.
A fluke if there ever was one, but I’ll take it.
After lots of tries in the past I got five stars on Crosstown Traffic (Jimi Hendrix Experience- one of my favourite songs).
Some minor victories were achieved by passing songs on medium pro-drums and hard guitar.
I reckon that in order to be able to chart, being able to play instruments will be somewhat of necessity, or in the very least helpful. Slow but steady progress is being made.-edit- and sarcasm apparently.

Wow, awesome work. Also, shoot, there’s a misaligned harmony, how did I miss that…

Lowlander2Participant. This was really tough on guitar.

Good job, I could never have this consistency on alt-strums!
So I finally had some time to do preview videos and have a blast on the Vadrum songs linked by Sideshow (authored by Bloodline):
This one is also on video
Those are really fun. I’ll try the 2x bass pedal versions later, but I can’t play fast without having my shoes on and it’s too hot at the moment

DividerMemberI recently FC’d Deththeme/Duncan Hills on XGuitar. Strangely enough, I did it on my big TV that I use for regular games and RB parties. The A/V calibration is really weird and I can’t get it right, but I guess something went well there.
My goal is to FC Murmaider as well, but the gallops are difficult for me to hit consistently.
