I already know it is gonna be 10 dollars (Already did my research).

However, since I only paid 15 for the items themselves… Making 10, out of that 15, back is a good %. Plus once I sell the track pack with my old guitar (after I use the track pack’s code), I can probably make another 10 dollars there…

So in the end, only spent 6 dollars on a nice new guitar, and that 6 only being used to get it here!

So it sells new for $5, there’s hundreds being sold starting at $0.01 and you think you’re going to sell it for $10? :raise:

It sells 10 for “Buy It now” and the others lower priced ones are “bids”.

    Gotta remember that!

Did you even click on the link? That’s Amazon, not eBay. The $4.99 is the price. The $0.01 are used and new prices from other sellers + shipping. First one is $0.01 for the game + $3.99 shipping = $4.00.

I did but prolly misread it XD.

Either way though, I’m happy anyways. The guitar works much better than the other one I had… Just the select (overdrive) button is much smaller so harder to hit />.>” title=”>.>” class=”bbcode_smiley” />

Finally got them up on the wall.

The bottom two are the ones we use for playing, the other 4 are fully functional but being kept as decoration until these two break down. I’m hoping to add a Les Paul and an Axe to the collection, but those seem difficult to find nowadays :-(

And Craigslist keeps on giving. Found a guy selling various Guitar Hero 2/3/Aerosmith guitars for every console.

The outside of the box was a little rough, but inside everything was sealed. Even the original batteries, which expired March 2014.

    all of that for $35…

and the real reason I wanted two Les Pauls (still missing to find a plain black one for the wall):

my wife’s custom faceplate. I also had one but it got messed up in storage

    Gotta love Craigslist

I was there! The guy had stacks of in package guitars for various systems. He also tried to get us to buy CD Walkman’s for $1.

Got this for 40 bucks, described as hardly used. Its from the beatles set, I already took the sign off the front. This is actually going to be my back up set. My RB2 set is still going strong. However I have taken an interest in purchasing back up instruments. I currently have 5 wireless mics, 3 wireless RB Guitars, 1 Fender Replica, 2 Drum sets. I check craigslist every few days to see whats out there. Ebay is more of a toss up imo due to late bidders.

If you’re a thrifty gamer, thrift stores/charity shops usually consider RB and GH instruments to be toys and price them accordingly, meaning they are ridiculously cheap. I have frequently run across wired RB1 Strats and GH3 Les Pauls, as well as RB1 and GH drumsets, and even a few microphones. Instruments for the later games seem to be more rare (at least in my area), but I did manage to score a keyboard a few days ago for a measly five bucks. It was extremely dirty and had a few scuffs and scratches, but after wiping it down with some disinfectant, it cleaned up nicely and now I have a spare keyboard for less than a fast food combo. Keep an eye out!

Jeeze. I hope you got the guy to knock off a couple of bucks for that.

Ha. Just scored a RB1-era (non-reinforced) pedal for $1 while I was at a thrift shop with my mother in law.

Also spotted (but didn’t buy) a Wii drum kit, Wii GH5 guitar, PS2 guitar and what I think was either a PS2/PS3 guitar.

I think I’m going to take a Saturday to go to 15-20 thrift shops and just test my luck at finding Xbox RB/GH stuff for dirt cheap
