24.10 Update: It’s been brought to my attention that since I didn’t author drum fills, all those tunes were impossible to gold star in RB3 (I didn’t know that, in Phase Shift you can activate overdrive just fine without it!). Also, because of a bug I’ve had, all the album artworks were wrong – there was a very bad resolution picture of Springsteen instead.
Because of that, I’ve updated all the songs to include drum fills and proper artwork.
If you’ve downloaded an old version, please replace it with the new one! And if you find any further errors, please write me. Thanks ” src=”/wp-content/uploads/invision_emoticons/default_SA_smile.gif” />
November 4, 2017 at 11:36 pm #492227Hello, here’s 9 new songs!
Bruce Springsteen Classics 02
Second Springsteen classics pack, and this time it represents several decades and not just the 70’s! “The Promised Land” is another 70’s classic from the Darkness album (see more below…), “No Surrender” covers the 80’s, while “Land of Hope and Dreams” is an epic 7-minutes long fan favorite, debuted live in the 90’s and finally released in 2012’s “Wrecking Ball”. All songs are a blast to play, so have fun!
Springsteen’s Darkness at the Edge of Town pack
“Darkness at the Edge of Town“
Even more Springsteen! And the second of the “classic albums” packs (after David Bowie’s Low), it’s a 3-pack of classics from the Darkness at the Edge of Town album. “Candy’s Room” will test your endurance with a series of 16th notes (and it’s a great song too!), “Prove it All Night” (my favorite of the bunch) is just a blast to play, while “Darkness” is a classic, powerful power ballad. With “Badlands” and “The Promised Land”, I’ve now charted half of the album already. Hmmm…
The Replacements 01
First customs in the database for the best punk band of all time! In my opinion of course. Anyway, each of their three classic albums is represented here. “Kiss Me On the Bus” (from “Tim”) is a brilliant jangle-pop tune from, “Favorite Thing” (from “Let it Be”) is full on, fast and loud punk (honestly I can’t play it properly, it’s too fast for me!) and my favorite Replacements song, “Can’t Hardly Wait” (from “Pleased to Meet Me”) is just a beautiful touching yet upbeat tune.
Also, there’s another album pack coming very soon – 3/3 songs charted, 2/3 songs approved, I’m just having some difficulties with the tempo of the last one. Once I’ll get it right I’ll upload all three!
Hope you loved those! And as always, if anyone wants to chart more instruments – to anything – PM me!
November 12, 2017 at 10:17 pm #492383Hey, it’s time to release my first full band collaboration! If you’ve wondered why Thunder Road, one of Springsteen’s best songs (and my personal favorite) was suspiciously missing from 3 different Bruce packs… well here’s your answer. A full band custom was in the making, collaboration with ejthedj, and now it’s ready!
Get it here!
Bruce Springsteen – Thunder Road
I would like to say a huge thank you to ejthedj, who done the majority of the work, including an absolutely insane (seriously, insane) pro keys chart. I’ve had a blast charting the drums (all difficulties) to this one.
Also, on a minor note, I’ve updated ‘Darkness at the Edge of Town’ to include some missing tom hits from the pro-drums chart. So if you’re playing pro, be sure to redownload it here.
There’s much more coming, I’m quite busy at studying but there’s more to look forward too!
November 20, 2017 at 12:21 pm #492557A new release!
Pavement ‘Crooked Rain Crooked Rain’ 3-Pack
“Unfair“
A 3 pack of highlights from one of the best rock albums of the 90’s! Play along to the brilliant Gold Soundz (Pitchfork’s best song of the 90’s, and for a good reason!), the opener Silence Kid (man that tempo map was annoying to make, fun to play though!) and my personal favorite, the wild rocker ‘Unfair’. Brilliant music and fun charts all around!
November 21, 2017 at 9:55 pm #492594David Bowie Modern Pack
“Lazarus“
“No Plan“
We already have so much vintage Bowie, but how about some of the newer stuff? Lazarus is an heartbreaking tune from the amazing ‘Blackstar’, with great jazzy drumming. “No Plan” is an underrated outtake from Blackstar, and one of my favorite Bowie tunes ever. And to make this pack a bit less depressing – here’s the ultra catchy “The Stars (Are Out Tonight)” from Bowie’s comeback album “The Next Day”.
November 21, 2017 at 9:58 pm #492595Amazing. I hope you find a full band partner for your stuff so I can play it (or just a bass charter, you know, for that rhythm section vibe)! Your track and artist choices are really exciting. I too love ‘Blackstar’ – such a heartbreaking album in places.

Thanks! Honestly there’s so much I would want to chart from this album, but a lot of the other tracks (mostly the title track and Sue) seems too difficult for me to chart at the moment. Maybe in the future!
Also, regardless of my chart, if you like Blackstar make sure you listen to ‘No Plan’. It’s an outtake and I’m honestly baffled how come it didn’t make the album. Would have been an highlight and it fits the album perfectly.
December 10, 2017 at 12:08 am #493239New songs! A tribute to one of the best albums of the 00’s – Wilco’s ‘Yankee Hotel Foxtrot’ – with 4 songs, and a single by Angel Olsen!
Wilco’s ‘Yankee Hotel Foxtrot’ Pack
“I Am Trying to Break Your Heart“
First 4-pack (couldn’t leave any of the songs out), and it’s a tribute to Wilco’s masterpiece – ‘Yankee Hotel Foxtrot’! Play along to those wonderful songs. “I Am Trying to Break Your Heart” includes ultra creative drumming and even a drum solo (and it’s a masterpiece, too), while ‘I’m the Man Who Loves You’ is a hugely tricky chart as it includes several layers of percussion and drums! Tried my best to make the chart as good as I could. “Heavy Metal Drummer”, despite the name, is a pretty fun and fairly easy tune. Last but not least, “Jesus Etc” is a complete breeze to play through, but it’s also one of the most beautiful songs ever written by anyone – just couldn’t make this pack without it!
Angel Olsen – “Shut Up Kiss Me“
First single release, it’s “Shut Up Kiss Me” by Angel Olsen! One of the great new(ish) artists in indie, Olsen is an amazing songwriter with great 70’s style. This song is ultra fun to play and it’s just such a great song.
December 11, 2017 at 5:57 am #493278I’m the Man Who Loves You was a lot of fun on drums. Thanks.

Glad you enjoyed it! I was a bit insecure about this chart because there’s so much percussion going on – at some points I knew I’d leave out certain noticeable drum parts – but it ended up being a blast to play.
January 16, 2018 at 9:36 am #494311New release!
Big Star 3-Pack
One of the most underrated bands of all times with a great three pack of brilliant power-pop. Headlined by “September Gurls”, a career highlight and one of the greatest power pop anthems of all time – which is also loads of fun on drums with many drum fills all over the place! In addition there’s two songs from the band’s last album, the dark masterpiece “Big Star/Third”, including the brilliant rocker “Kizza Me” and the ultra-cynical anthem “Thank You Friends”, both of whom among the band’s best and are really fun on drums. Enjoy!
January 16, 2018 at 10:14 am #494312Can you include youtube links for your songs so we can preview them when we’re unfamiliar?

Sure, great idea! added to post above. Will add to older songs later.
February 11, 2018 at 9:22 pm #495309Hey! So as you know, I’ve been turning my attention to charting full band songs… so soon you’ll see full band songs posted here!
But before this happens, I need to ‘clean my plate’ – finished up some drums stuff I did. So this is the last drums-only release planned. Here we go!
Bruce Springsteen Deep Cuts Pack
“Loose Ends” (YouTube)
So as you can tell, I like Bruce haha
This is a three pack of lesser known songs, but I love all of them. They each show a different side of him.
“Loose Ends” is honestly, an emotional masterpiece and one of the prettiest songs he’s ever written. His guitar player, Steve Van Zandt, when asked ‘what is the last song the E-Street Band should ever play live?’, answered Loose Ends. And it’s fun on drums too!
“Sherry Darling” is a pure fun song from the River album, great rock’n’roll with an amazingly catchy chorus. I got some beers and the highway’s free…
“Roulette” is hard rocking Bruce, it’s another hidden gem. A fast paced, paranoid, sweaty tune. And if you think Bruce songs are too easy on drums – this one is for you! It’s quite a challenge to play, I actually had difficulties testing it properly because it’s too hard for me. So yeah, have fun!
And another bonus song:
The Millennium – There Is Nothing More to Say (YouTube)
To be honest, this is one song I did for myself. The Millennium were a psychedelic band back in the 60’s, in the vein of the Beach Boys, Love etc, but not nearly as popular. They only released one album – ‘Begin’. For me, it’s one of the greatest lost classics of all time. A mixture of psychedelia and sunshine pop, extremely melodic – I think it’s the best psychedelic album ever made, after ‘Pet Sounds’. And that’s my favorite song on it. I can’t believe it’s a deep cut on a forgotten album – it just sounds like a lost classic.
Have fun!
February 20, 2018 at 9:41 pm #495530FIRST BATCH OF FULL BAND SONGS!First batch of full band songs is finally out! It’s two updates to existing ones – Bruce’s magnificent ‘Darkness’ and Pavement’s classic ‘Gold Soundz’, plus a brand new song with Pulp’s hit ‘Disco 2000’.This is my first batch of full band songs, so it’s probably not perfect.I would love to hear any feedback you have, good/bad. If there’s something wrong with anything, pm me and I’ll fix it. I want it to be as good as possible. Thanks and have fun! -
