Hi,
I’ve not too long discovered customs as some of my all time favourite songs are there to play after I’ve worn out my DLC.
To cut a long story short, I put 2 songs onto my USB stick after doing all of the necessary to get them working, anyway, I went on my Xbox, into Play A Song and they were there all well and good and playable. After this, I done a bulk import of around 280 songs onto the USB but now when I click on Play A Song the options will disappear onto a kind of black screen as if it’s just about to load up all the customs into a song list but then the Xbox crashes.
Anyone had a similar issue or know what this could be? I assume either the Xbox cannot handle the amount of data on the USB or there is a corrupt file in there somewhere?
Thanks for any help.

This happens sorta for me, but with normal and dlc songs, my xbox just gets stuck on loading screen

Hey, it is using C3 Con Tools. I’ll try this when I’m next on my PC – other than that I think it’s going to be a case of maybe starting from the beginning and then adding the songs one by one then seeing if it works.
Cheers.
February 8, 2017 at 8:39 am #481156Why not instead add half and see if that causes problems. If so, load half of that and see if that causes problems, otherwise, load up the remaining half and apply the same recursive steps to those customs. If there’s only one misbehaving file, that should find it within log2(n) steps.
The problem is most likely in the songs.dta file in whatever files are causing the problem. It’s a pain, but you only have to go through it once. Most if not all new customs work just fine.
