What is really I think ominous for the Xbox 360 gang is that on the PS4 the ekits work, so efforts to produce anything, either officially or homebrew, would target only half of the public.

So, apparently Xbox versions in Europe are being delayed without a word from anybody, UK too (talking about boxes and bundles obviously, not the digital versions). Some shops have them, but retailers like Amazon don’t know when they will deliver.

I have a couple of RB2 drum controllers.  Unfortunately soldering is not my forte and large blocks of time to sit down and learn that sort of thing are hard to come by.  But I’ll see what I can muster up.

 

As for the XBox-only thing, that wouldn’t be the first time an licensed piece of hardware was manufactured for one console only, and homebrewers have produced far more elaborate bits for a far smaller audience.

Same boat as you. I’m a poor student right now and currently in the process at working towards a 1st in my degree. Career = Job = money = RB4… Besides i play drums more so the use of no e-kits or Ion drum rocker support really doesn’t make me enthusiastic on buying RB4 straight away.
