Heres another topic yall can debate.
Which game in the RB or GH series did you prefer for the base setlist alone?
For me Id have to easily go with Rock Band 2 or Guitar Hero World Tour. They had some fantastic songs, yes some of the songs werent as great as others but both games had headlining artists that everyone wanted to play. Disturbed, Nirvana, Lit, Dream Theater, AC/DC & Kansas are just a few of my favorites just from RB2 alone. GHWT has Wings & Paul McCartney, Lenny Kravitz, Jimmy Hendrix, Ozzy Osbourne, TOOL & Eagles just to name a few. Theres also over lapping artists as well as over lapping songs. I know picking GH3 would be a no brainer, Ive just had more fun with GHWT as a whole. Same goes for RB2 over RB1 even though RB1 has some great hits on it like Radioheads Creep & Faith No Mores Epic.
Same. RB2 and World Tour for me.
I also agree with Rock Band 2 being my favorite base set list, although I prefer Guitar Hero 3 to be my favorite base set list for the GH series.

I wish they could have rerelease GH3 for full band. That would have been sick!
my top 3 would be GH3 RB2 and Lego RB
RB3, hands down. Somewhat honorable mention to GHSH. Call it a cheat, but it worked.

Oh absolutely loved the Smash Hits setlist. It was a full fledged game so I wouldnt consider a cheat as much as I would just an easy pick haha. I enjoyed the songs they added to it from Rocks the 80s which I believe should have came out on 360/PS3. The fact that it didnt probably hurt the sales of it.
The answer is and always will be Band Hero.
