Before the huge site update, you could see your Profile ID or Author ID on your profile, but now it’s nowhere to be found. It’s worth noting that there is a 4-digit number as part of the link to a user’s profile, but is this the author ID; if not, where would you find it?

This was an oversight in the forums migration, sorry! I’ll add it shortly: http://pksage.com/ccc/IPS/index.php?/tracker/issue-39-author-id-is-missing-from-user-profiles/?catfilter=1
Fixed! Check the first tab of your user profile. Your author ID is visible only to you.

Note: Your author ID has changed, because your forums ID has changed. This will not impact anything! The only purpose of author IDs is to ensure file uniqueness, and none of the old IDs overlap with the new ones. Feel free to use either your old ID or your new one.
