What would be the hardest song to make, due to it being difficult to sync or being unpredictable? I think that anything off of Captain Beefheart’s Trout Mask Replica album would be extremely difficult to fret.
John Cage – 4′ 33″
The song is a VERY* well done cover of the original. Sadly, the original 1953 version is not easy to find in good quality. However, William Marx does an almost indisputable job with this. It’s way above my authoring ability ” src=”/wp-content/uploads/invision_emoticons/default_SA_frown.gif” />

Still crossing my fingers for the Rock Band Avant Garde Contemporary Classical Track Pack. I can’t wait to play my favorite Stravinsky tunes on my plastic guitar!! I wonder what kind of vocal charts
would have…
Maybe an even more interesting idea is Lou Reed’s Metal Machine Music ” src=”/wp-content/uploads/invision_emoticons/default_SA_emot-3.gif” />

My favorite part was around 5:43.
Assuming a song with at least somewhat standard rock instrumentation and not experimental in length (see: Bull of Heaven), Echo On The Hills Of Knebworth by Tera Melos is easily the hardest I can think of. I’d like to see someone try to legitimately top this:
