    “Alapalooza”by Weird Al was the first album I bought on my own accord, though my mom had gifted me several albums beforehand (more than likely several hundred, to be exact), as well as a few from friends.

    Not counting computer generated noise, the first rock album I bought was A Day at the Races (cd) by Queen.
