Hey folks…. I have been jamming the custom tunes without an issue until recently. Now Party Buffalo does not recognize my flash drive. I decided to get a new flash drive but my Xbox will not configure it. I only get an option to format the drive. I have tried everything I can think of to try and solve this. I think the main issue is that the Xbox will not configure any flash drive I plug in even if it has been formatted, etc.
Grim….
One of the recent 360 updates made it so you can use flash drives that are formatted as FAT32 rather than the special formatting they used before which is why you aren’t seeing that option anymore.
So instead of Party Buffalo you should use the RBtoUSB feature in C3 Con Tools to add customs to your flash drive
That is awesome! Thank you so much. Is there a specific page I go to? Or someway to make this easy? I’m finding a lot of data on that link.
Download from the first page. Read the help documentation and/or watch the tutorial videos and/or read through the thread.
Okey dokey. I now have the C3 icon on my desktop but when I click on it is looks as if it is opening but then nothing happens.
Make sure you have all the pre requisites (mostly .NET framework 4) and make sure you’re, you know, doing it right. There’s no trick to it. If it doesn’t run you are missing something on your end. You’ll need to be infinitely more detailed if you’re hoping I can tell you why a program doesn’t run on your end.
OK I will send detailed info later. I just want to make sure though there is no way to continue using party Buffalo? It’s just that I know how to use it and I have it set up.
Ok, I got it to work on my computer. I opened up CON Converter and dragged in one song. However right now it is converting every single song in the database on it’s own automatically. Is this normal?

OK… I think I have it figured out. I see now how to rename and do the RB to USB. Is that it? Do I have to mess around with deleting title updates on the XBOX and all of that other kind of stuff I did in Party Buffalo?
If you only get the option to “Format” the drive, not “Configure” it…just remove the hard drive and put the thumb drive in and designate it as the main drive. That will give you the Configure option!
