Nah, it is fairly obscure, I’m not surprised.

 

I must say, for hint #1*, the album it was on was independently relased in 1998 and later remastered and redistributed by a label in the early 2000s. This and another one of this band’s songs are on a PS2 game from the early 2000s as well.
