So I’m currently charting the song Nosebleed by Deftones for my Deftones discography project and I’m at a loss at how to chart the following part:

And here’s a guitar cover showing how it’s supposed to be played on actual guitar:

So, any thoughts or advice on how to chart that part?

I’m really not that experienced with charting guitar, but I would chart it as descending single notes.

One of the community managers and the main tournament organizer over at SpinShare. Also somewhat decent at charting for RB3 I think.

i agree with this just listen to how high or low each sound is and chart as singles

I’d do it as 3 Blue-Orange chords, but whatever works.

Nevermind. Not the part I thought it was. I thought you meant at EXACTLY 2:03 with the chords.

Yeah…I’d go with what ws54 said.

I’d chart the pattern as singles starting on Orange. The part goes on about 4 “phrases” so drop down a lane for each phrase… more or less.

The notes sound like a high C to me, followed by a bunch of high B’s. Repeated, but, eventually, the scale drops to a G,A.

I’d start is with a bunch of Oranges, then Blues. Repeat, then drop the notes down when the progression drops.
