Even though I have an FC on all parts, I’m not satisfied with the takes I got today.

Pretty good for hearing the song yesterday for the first time but I can do better.

My life is busy and my current living situation is abysmal for recording vocals so I’m going to be putting this on the backburner.

 

I’ll still take requests but I won’t be doing videos nearly as often as I was.

For requests be sure to request ANY SONG ever (I have over 400 payed for songs). A C3 custom is preferred, however.

You can request multiple songs as well.

As the list diminishes I’ll keep moving on to the next requests so that I put up videos you actually want to see.

Today I had a couple hours of free time so I was able to get some really good takes for “We Are Never Getting Back Together” by Taylor Swift.

edit: Oh my god. This song name is killing me. I have written this song name like 20 different ways. I’ll get it down eventually. WE ARE NEVER EVER GETTING BACK TOGETHER. Phew.

 

edit: I’m redoing the first post. Going to be just pictures with the personal descriptions moving onto Youtube itself (the description box under each video). If the list gets to long then I might just abandon image links and just go for text links but right now it doesn’t seem to be an issue. (WORK IN PROGRESS)

 

edit: Done with first post. I think it looks much nicer and more uniform. All descriptions are added in on Youtube except Taylor Swift one.

Did some solo work today.

 

Here is Dream On by Aerosmith and Adam Sandler Double Feature.

 

Working on Surfin USA but I couldn’t get a good take on Harmony 2.

Ordered a tripod for my smartphone.

I don’t have the $$$ to spend on a capture card.

edit: I already had the tripod. I ordered a $3 phone stabilizer that screws on to the tripod.

I have been setting it on top of a broke mic stand that wobbles so it making recording difficult.

 

I started recording with headphones instead of speakers – which gives isolated vocal tracks – but the problem is getting a backing track with the other instruments.

On the newest releases I used karoake tracks but I didn’t like the non-matching tempos and the lame sound.

I think I’m going to just record a performance mode session with vocal tracks muted to get a backing track.

I’m currently spending my time trying to FC all the devil tiered vocal songs on solo mode.

 

Even more so my smart phone had be sent in to be fixed (which was acting as my video camera) so I have no real way to record besides borrowing someone elses phone.

 

Also soon I’ll be upgrading my audio recording to a pro mic instead of the crappy smartphone audio capture that clips all the time.

 

So thanks for commenting and watching my videos! That’s why I do them… for entertainment!

I can only do so much!

I already had every single RB HarmProj upgrade requested.

 

Seriously though the harmony videos take a lot more effort and time and patience and skill than just getting a solo FC and snapping a pic with a borrowed phone.

 

I know I have a lot of requests on back order but they are definitely priority over anything else. So you can still request specific single songs and I’ll add them to the list. When my setup gets repaired and I start making videos I will be using my request list to decide which song to do next.

Got my pro mic / rockband mic dual setup working.

I’ll think I’ll be releasing one harmony and one solo video a week.

 

If your an audio person and your thinking “woah something sounds wrong” it’s because I’m still working out all the settings for the pro mic as I’m not use to using one. I believe I had the audio on too much gain for this week’s release.

Combined threads and made concise video lists.

Waiting for a capture card to come in the mail. Found a way to record 480p direct from the Xbox for around $25 and should surprisingly look better than my “1080p” (

) smartphone capture.

 

This will also let me capture the vocal-less tracks on official content and may make importing C3 audio redundant as I can now record that as well with the video.

 

Vocals will still be recorded with my $40 pro mic setup.

If I was doing these videos for just me I wouldn’t have bothered to make this thread.
