Wait. Do you mean just adding unpitched vocals to a song? Just open the vocals midi track and chart notes anywhere theres a word, doesn’t matter what pitch. They become unpitcthed if you add a “#” (without quotations) to the end of every word in the lyrics file. The way I do it is find & replace every space with “#(space)”

Or by using CAT and pressing a button, with which you can also select a range of words to unpitch/pitch.
May 19, 2017 at 9:25 pm #485276Thanks for all your help, but i am having sound issues on my pc, i get sound from just about everything but Midi, anything in google chrome and in reaper, visualizer works fine as well as internet explorer, i am running vista ” src=”/wp-content/uploads/invision_emoticons/default_SA_frown.gif” /> on an older computer.
my sound was fine till my onboard sound died and i moved a sb card in from another computer.
i looked the issue up and it seems i aint the only one, i will try and see if the other computer works after i put the sound card back in it!
sometimes i just cant hit the ground with my hat!
May 21, 2017 at 7:40 pm #485341Alright i have got the audio working properly,
ok so i assume you use batch extractor to break the con file into its separate parts, then i tried moving those files into reaper, for the first couple attempts it seemed to put the audio track in the right place but since then it has been loading into different tracks, on the video posted on here it says to load the sound/midi file in the trks and there is no such track on 4.22 and 4.33 it is called Song audio, can anybody tell me what i am doing wrong, i wish i had a tutor here to show me.
in the video when he says to load a song file it goes to a directory he has a file stored, is it a con file or what??? and how is it he calls up that directory is it by a keyboard shortcut ???
i can get a mp3 file to load in the audio track but i am so new to authoring i was hoping to work with or just add to an already working custom song.
this stuff is hard, again hats off to you awesome Authors ” src=”/wp-content/uploads/invision_emoticons/default_SA_smile.gif” />
In this RCHP video is this what is called unpitched vocals, basically is this what you get when you add the #(space) to the end of each word, if it is, it is exactly what i want to do to many of the songs you have on here without vocals, even if for only on my end.
anybody know of a video showing me exactly how to do this???
i know it says rock band 4 on the video but i am needing info on RB3
May 21, 2017 at 10:51 pm #485350The audio in the CON file is a mogg file. I usually convert the custom into a Phase Shift song so I can work with the ogg(s) files directly.
