ERROR: Lip Sync Compiler: Dry vox must have 16 bits per sample. The given file for SOLO/HARMONY 1 has 24 bits per sample.
anyway to fix this?
Yeah. Make your dry vox file be 16 bits per sample. That’s pretty clear in the error.
Yeah well, no shit. But how do I do it? Audacity is being a douchebag and won’t change it.

Reaper > Render, as for any other audio rendering from Reaper.

Or you know. Google it. For someone with such a unique avatar you sure seem to have a lot common sense questions…
Okay here’s pictures to make it a little easier to understand. Keep in mind I’m on Mac, but this shouldn’t make a difference anyway.
Press the render button under “file”.
Then just make sure your render screen looks like this (except for file name directory and stuff like that of course). So it should be like:
Sample Rate: 16000
Channels: Mono
WAV bit depth: 16 bit PCM
This is usually how I do it when I make customs and it works, so if another admin/author comes in and tells me this is wrong, well then whoops. But this is always how I do it.
Hope this helps! ” src=”/wp-content/uploads/invision_emoticons/default_SA_smile.gif” />
Ohhhh! Thank you guys, I couldn’t find out how but then you showed how in REAPER. thank yall! I’ll be sending candy in the mail!
Some questions though are a bit troubling. This is the FIRST page of the authoring docs:

There’s a picture of Reaper with how to render out audio. If you haven’t read the docs, please do, authoring is gonna be really hell if you don’t.

Well you did seem like you needed pictures for such a simple and easy task so don’t mention it!
