You just need to change the first event, with “PART VOCALS” as content.
February 14, 2020 at 12:20 pm #509697Just double click on PART VOCALS in the bottom row and then hit the down arrow where lyric is
February 14, 2020 at 2:40 pm #509699I love how the first reaction is always to blame Magma… when it’s user-error 99% of the time.
February 14, 2020 at 2:42 pm #509700No need to make two threads for the same issue. Merged them into one thread.

This only changes the event for PART VOCALS. The actual lyric events are still classified as “lyrics”.
I ask again, is there a way to change the event type to “Track Name” without having to select each event individually to change it, and what row do you use for spoken words? Sorry about the bolding, I just want this to be more noticeable.
February 14, 2020 at 8:11 pm #509710The Track Name event is only there to tell the game that this track is indeed for the Vocal part. You only need to change that one.
Every lyrics should be Lyric events.
Really not sure how else to put it….
You’re asking for a way to mass change them, but you only need to change one so even if there was, it would be useless.
Please read this, all the important information about what data does what is in there http://docs.c3universe.com/rbndocs/index.php?title=Main_Page
February 14, 2020 at 8:44 pm #509711Ok, then why is magma saying that theres a missing lyric at 1:1:000 when the only thing that’s there is the PART VOCALs event, and theres a missing lyric at 31:4:240 when there never was a lyric there to begin with?
February 14, 2020 at 9:03 pm #509712what row do you use for spoken words?
I really need to stop wording things incorrectly. What I mean is, when charting lyrics that are non pitched, should we have no vocal tubes for these bits, or if we do need vocal tubes, what row do we place them in? ( C1(36) to C5(84) )
February 14, 2020 at 9:21 pm #509713Please read the website I posted in my last post. There is a vocal section with all that information.
February 14, 2020 at 9:44 pm #509714I have, and I’ve done everything that everyone told me to do to fix it as well, but I’m still getting errors.

Non-pitched lyrics don’t have their own row that they go to. Instead, when adding lyrics to the tube, you make sure the lyric ends with a #. So if the lyric is “This”, it’d need to be formatted as “This#” to be unpitched. This is all outlined in the vocal authoring docs, which you can click here to read.
February 18, 2020 at 10:47 pm #509810Ok, so after several days of autistic screeching and rage quitting, I’ve figured out the issue with the Vocal Phrase overlap, the Grammar issues, and the Phrase Markers. I’m still having issues with the missaligned lyrics, missing lyric, and the “Vocal note at X is outside any phrases” <(BTW, this error keeps popping up with the timestamp being 1:1:000, and the only events that are placed there are the "[idle_realtime]" & "PART VOCALS" events, neither of which are supposed to have phrase markers. {I think})
