I’m charting a song that has a lot of vocal “noises” (for lack of a better word) made by the singer at the end. I’m charting most of them as talkies, since they don’t seem to be pitched. Lots of cha/sha/shht types of things.
I’ve hit a point where the singer is making what I suspect are vocal clicks. What’s the best way to chart this? It’s 12 notes over about 6-7 measures.
Do I do vocal percussion perhaps a hand clap? I suspect I’ve seen things in charts like like
I would suggest the ^ notation for easy-scoring talkies and see how it feels. Percussion would feel weird if they are still mouth sounds (though you can actually “cha” loud enough into the mic for it).
Cool. Thanks.
