Sorry to resurrect an old thread, but I can’t comment on the video in question and wanted to clarify something: if music video venues have been unlocked, is Jimi Hendrix the only artist that has a 50% chance of getting them instead of the usual 13%, and if so, was any reason given as to why his songs are a special case?

The dev’s intentions for this has not been looked upon nor talked about. But according to the game’s data, there is a hard-coded file (video_venues.dta) that triggers this probability for songs with the following artist names in it:

• Jimi Hendrix
• The Jimi Hendrix Experience
• Band of Gypsys
• The Band of Gypsys
• Jimi Hendrix and the Band of Gypsys
• Gypsy Sun and Rainbows

There are no other specific conditions like these.
