Hello World!Sorry, geeky intro. My name is Tony and I’m from the UK. Have been a massive fan of rhythm-action games since playing Guitar Freaks in my local arcade some time around the year 2000 (God I’m old). Bought Guitar Hero: World Tour on launch to play the “drums”, and have been playing them since, until finally getting a Roland e-kit a couple of years ago to play Pro mode (HIGH-FIVE).Am also a big Genesis fan, so when my GF showed me the Genesis Chronicles site I couldn’t believe my eyes! Can’t imagine the amount of hours that must have gone into that, so a MASSIVE thanks to all involved! Wanted to show my gratitude by giving something back, so here I am! Also wanted to say thanks to everyone who has created videos/guides/posts to help with the authoring process, especially pksage for his REAPER vid, TrojanNemo for his Magma vid, and Farottone for his tutorial doc and GOD-LIKE CAT tools. Such an amazing community!Songs are mostly Genesis, with a few Roots songs, just to show that I do listen to something other than Genesis! Occasionally. Wanted to “complete” the Chronicles by doing a couple of tracks from Calling All Stations (quiet at the back), and the rest are just songs from other albums that hadn’t been done, and a couple of B-sides.Songs are all DRUM ONLY (with CAT E/M/H) at the mo I’m afraid, but have linked the REAPER files under the CONs so if anyone wants to chart another instrument feel free, and if you send me back the REAPER file I can update the DL links. Tempo mapping may be a bit wonky in places (I was learning!) and a couple are only tempo-mapped until the end of the drums (sorry!).Please note I am not a trained drummer, and have never had a lesson in my life (should really get round to that at some point) so any corrections/suggestions/feedback would be very gratefully received! Would love to get these to C3 standard and onto the official DB.Anyway, enough of me waffling on, thanks for reading and enjoy!

None of the four tracks listed above caught my attention, but if you check my suggestions thread, I’ve got a list of Roots songs I’d contribute vocals for there. See if any strike your fancy. If we overlap, we might as well get something done

Yeah, was pretty surprised that there were no Roots songs in the DB, and love that album so thought I would do a couple, which turned into a few. They’re generally pretty easy as they’re 4/4 and generally the same four bars for three-and-a-half minutes so don’t take that long. Happy to go for your Obvious Choice unless there are any others you fancy doing?

You could’ve left those two tracks up for now. I’ll be sure to get working on those tracks sooner, once we get more prog tracks going.

Ah, okay. Wasn’t sure of protocol and didn’t want to step on any toes! Happy to wait for your versions, am sure they will be a lot better!

I should have mentioned that I do have plans to do a full band of Calling All Stations (the song) at some point, but that’s far off.
No worries, will keep an eye out and take it down when you’re done.

I think it might be as I don’t have any drum fills, as Magma always moans at me when compiling. Would this cause it to crash on loading? If not, would someone mind looking at any of the REAPER files above and see if they can spot anything?

Lack of drum fills won’t cause crashes, but players simply can’t deploy gathered overdrive energy.
I’ll have a look at the files.
Edit: ‘Feeding the Fire’ contains a few template-empty Pro Keys midi tracks. Be sure to mute all of them before exporting the midi. I’m surprised this got past Magma when compiling.
The mogg contains more than two channels with the full mix, which is a no-go. Only put the full mix in the backing track and use empty tracks that come with MagmaC3 in the instrument and crowd tracks.
