FujiSkunkKeymasterAs a courtesy to players who need to worry about such things, it would be nice if you set the ratings for such songs to either “Supervision Recommended” or “Mature” in Magma, depending on the subject matter and which 4-letter words are getting thrown about. Beyond that, swear away, sailor.

I think this is a very reasonable and good practice, and one that I’m sure most authors have been following all along.
For those with little ones…just be sure to use the in-game filtering to prevent stuff like “Team America” from showing up in the in-game list as your 8 year old son reads the song titles aloud as you scroll through the list looking for something for him to sing. Ooops!

If that doesn’t work out, you can also edit the song title with C3 CON Tools and blank them out. Same ol’ censor method most every music store does.

FarottoneKeymasterBecause frankly, surely Rock Band 3 is the only place in the world any 8/10 year old can read “fuck”, hear about alcohol or see a frightening album art, so making sure a swear word can’t make it even to the song list is of paramount importance.

Yes, this is certainly true.
It’s still shocking to hear that word come out of their mouths for the first time. There’s far, far worse stuff out there on Youtube.
