Its not ment to be the Original, no its a Melody, ive not once said its the original OST.

my friend remixes these old files he has on his PC and i use them

I don’t think you understand what the word “melody” means.

Also actually, you have made no indication to them being remixes, you have the original artist name on it, the album art of the actual game and the year of the game’s release. So yes, you did say it was the original version via that.

Does it matter if there fun to play? Ive had no complaints.

If it’s a cover or whatever, it is good protocol to label them as such. In Magma, there’s a little tickbox for if it’s a cover. It’ll say “As made famous by” in-game.

its not like there completely different they have been enhanced to make more tracks audible, fun to play. The songs are not terrible far from it, i would’nt go out of my way to say they are better than original but :sweatdrop:

Best way to look at things

      • If you dont like what you see then don’t download but a LOT of people do.

I will give no futher comment on quality,

This isn’t a question of quality, this is a question of providing something other than advertised. It’d be like me hiring a guy to cover of Stairway to Heaven, and advertising it as the original. It could be a million times better for all I care, but it’s not what’s been advertised. You need to make it clear that it is, in fact, not the original track.

Its an Arrangement of The Original theme, Current and Tom Baker Etc, Just put a melody of them

(its really a 5 hours of work between my music man and me, hope you enjoy it as much as i did charting it,

I have no intention of CAT reducing this, the difficulty is playable on Guitar but Keys does have difficulty spikes

I have to say, that’s disappointing – I have a lot of friends who aren’t exactly whizzes on Rock Band, and others who will be playing for the first time. Oh well.

That’s what they’re trying to explain. In order for people to make an informed decision you need to tell them what it is they’re downloading. People who don’t care whether it’s the original or not will download it anyway, people who care won’t be disappointed because they download a song labelled as the original. <img decoding=” src=”/wp-content/uploads/invision_emoticons/default_SA_wink.gif”>

Yes i hear that you want

The only thing we want is for you to correctly label your songs. You’re free to do the songs you want, when you want in the version you want, just don’t label them incorrectly. “Innuendo” by “Queen” is the only correct labeling for that song, you don’t need to put “(Original Version)” in the title to make it original; you need to put “(Nokia Ringtone Version)” in the title or “(Tails Original Cover of a song As Made Famous By)” in the artist field.

Well, all my themes here are going to get version 2 after the first 5 are done, adding full difficulties and Pro Keys where needed. Hold your horses i got a lot in the Pipeline Thanks for understanding / support.

Yes, but that implies it’s the original version. Putting something in parenthesis isn’t normally required for original versions, but for remixed versions it is. If you don’t label it at all, it’s assumed it’s the original version of whatever you’re posting.

For example, the Doctor Who theme you posted isn’t the original version. There’s been alot of different versions of the theme. You’d be better off putting in parenthesis the version this actually is, specifically. I’m not going to download the soundtrack that it looks like you got this from, but I think it would be safe to label it as (50th Anniversary Version) and change the release date because that is totally wrong.

We’re not trying to pick on you, we’re just trying to help you set yourself up to be the best you can be!

The keys chart for the moon theme felt way off, guitar too. There are parts where you hit two of the same note (example: green, green) when it’s clearly two different sounding notes. The beginning riff (the twinkle star sound is the best way I can think of to describe it) should be charted to keys, and a devil tier for keys is way over doing it.

Thanks for all your chart, they are amazing

Can you please chart this song in Full Band with All Dificulties?

                Thanks
