- This track proves that the artist in question don’t need the rest of the royal family to be king
- This founding member of a epic British group teamed up with his car loving mates to release this paranoia themed hit single
- The first solo single in this artist’s career, though written while technically still recording with the band they originally were a part of
- If his career had ended with this song, we could have said he was Valve before being Valve was cool
- Chances are, you might know this song, oddly enough

I think I’ve just got Genesis on the brain, but guessing a Mike & The Mechanics song here? They had a few paranoid songs, though…Silent Running maybe?
September 11, 2014 at 7:04 pm #428957The last one is probably Y.M.C.A. due to it being one you’ve oddly heard before,

I’ve been pondering this one, too. I’m guessing this is a reference to Valve’s aversion to more than one sequel. How about Rock n Roll Part 2 by Gary Glitter? Can’t think of any other “part twos” out there.

I think you’re spot on with the Mike & The Mechanics but their hit Over My Shoulder fits the paranoia clue.

PLEASE be George Michael – Careless Whisper.

- This couldn’t possibly be a Prince tune, could it?
- Peter Gabriel – Steam

September 12, 2014 at 12:18 pm #429053Surprised nobody noticed that it’s a themed pack and from the theme much can be found out.

I’ve never guessed before, but here goes:
Not from his first album (or his second – don’t think either got airtime since they were mostly instrumental), but from his third album: George Harrison – “My Sweet Lord”
And the theme appears British in some way or another. Pip-pip, cheerio, Keep Calm and Carry On!

” src=”/wp-content/uploads/invision_emoticons/default_SA_smile.gif” />My guess on the theme is solo singles from people more associated with bands.
Freddie Mercury, Brian May, Phil Collins etc.
I am, of course, always wrong.
