Thank you so much I was worried you not going to release them anymore
Unless we say we’re done, we’re working on something, like imac007 says, this is just a side hobby for us, so if we plan something big, or if our personal lives are super busy or something, things might take a little longer ” src=”/wp-content/uploads/invision_emoticons/default_SA_smile.gif” />
August 5, 2020 at 7:10 pm #513319Thanks for the awesome work, and also for making RB3 versions too! As much as I think graphically and conceptually TBRB is the best game of the series, having keys and pro drums makes RB3 always win the day for me ” src=”/wp-content/uploads/invision_emoticons/default_SA_smile.gif” />
August 6, 2020 at 1:41 am #513327A big thank you to all you guys. I love having Beatles songs with keys in RB3, but having other Beatles songs to actually play in TBRB is something else. Well done.
I just wish I had not worried so much about the money and gotten the Hofner, Gretsch and Rickenbacker when they were available. Oh well.
August 6, 2020 at 2:25 am #513328Not sure who is reading these posts, but if any help is needed transferring the content from TBRB to RB3, I’d be more than happy to put in the non-trivial amount of work required to get them transferred.
I’m a huge Beatles fan – I charted Not Guilty for god’s sake. So I’m, shall I say desperate, for the entire catalog to be released. I’ve been itching to play some of those songs on Please Please Me for years.
Also, I don’t have a modded Xbox (and have friends who like to play non-Beatles songs – still don’t fully understand that one).I completely get where the authors are coming from in wanting the Beatles songs in their native game. I miss the dreamscapes when I’m playing them in RB3, but it is the price I pay to play them more often.
Reach out if you need help. Dump the crappy transfer work on me and you guys can get back to making original TBRB tracks. If I have to re-chart every single note by looking at your chart, so be it. That’s the level of work I’m willing to put in.
Edit: Would have contacted you on discord, but I haven’t figured out that platform yet. I’m old. Get off my lawn (ok – I don’t have a lawn, the whole thing is a garden nowadays. Get out of my apple trees).
August 6, 2020 at 6:58 am #513332Thank you so much folks, this is an awesome release and an excellent way to celebrate the anniversary!
August 6, 2020 at 4:59 pm #513336Thank you , a lot of hard work goes into these fantastic releases :golfclap:
August 6, 2020 at 7:26 pm #513339Next-level stuff. Fantastic work, and thanks.
(Reserving this space to bitch in the future if any of the releases stutter on the Wii, but so far so good ” src=”/wp-content/uploads/invision_emoticons/default_SA_biggrin.gif” /> )
August 7, 2020 at 7:04 am #513363Wow! I never thought I’d see or hear anything from TB:RB ever again. These are fantastic, and seeing the dreamscapes return gives me shivers. Sadly I don’t have a modded Xbox, but if there’s anything I can do to help chart instruments or bring some of these to RB3 I’d love to give it a shot. I feel like I can do a pretty good job when it comes to Pro Keys and venue work ” src=”/wp-content/uploads/invision_emoticons/default_SA_smile.gif” />
August 11, 2020 at 6:57 am #513407You guys are the dream team putting these customs into TBRB. Cannot wait to play Revolver.
August 12, 2020 at 9:57 pm #513436Just loaded these up guys, and played ‘Rain'(a fave since I was 11).
Well done. I see what you guys did, adding them to the system in the directory that All You Need is Love(which everyone should have as it was free) and adding the other songs to that dta file.
So who did you bribe at Abbey Road to get the songs separated? Could not have been easy with mono mixes from these early songs.
Just to clarify, if you already have a modded PS3, with the ability to add customs to RB3, you do not need to install the rap file as on the discord channel, or am I missing something because it did work.
thanks again
I vote for whichever method is quickest to get the rest of the songs done, single releases, full albums, by year, alphabetically, however you guys want to do it.
August 17, 2020 at 10:07 pm #513582I did have an issue playing some of these songs. I just unzipped them, used the bat file as indicated and copied the folders to my PS3. Only 9 songs would work. I did not look closely enough at the file structure. There was another folder above the actual song folder, and once I moved the song folder to songs, all worked as it should.
FYI, I still do not know what the RAP file does. Rain worked without it being on my PS3. I think I have it on now, but I am not sure. It is in the folder that everyone seems to think it should be in, but I did not run any program or pkg to install it.
also FYI, my PS3 is not a CFW compatible type. It is a (i think) slim model, that i have modded with PS3HEN and using HFW(hybrid firmware) as CFW cannot be installed on a slim or superslim. but these customs do work on it. I’m sure that if you are playing RB3 customs, you will be fine.
August 18, 2020 at 10:47 am #513596I must say, having recently joined the project discord, the amount of work and attention that goes into each and every one of those is insane. Especially dreamscapes – every outfit, instrument played, setting and so on is debated and verified and a lot of amazing ideas.
Having those songs in RB3 is nice and I’m in favor, but I really recommend playing them in their original TB:RB setting. Making extra effort to jailbreak your console or whatever, it’s totally worth it.
August 18, 2020 at 2:31 pm #513599What program do you use for install the songs?

If you are on PS3, just follow the instructions on the discord channel. They do work. Keep in mind that when unzipping the songs, some of them go directly into their correct folder to be copied, eg ‘help’, while others go into ‘TBRBEleanorRigby/eleanorrigby’. If you just copy all the folders, those songs will not work. You need to just copy the ‘eleanorrigby’ folder and what is in it.
The .bat file works great, just move all the .dta files and the bat file appends them to the existing songs.dta file(which you copied over from your PS3), and then you copy the new songs.dat back where it originally was. And put the .rap file in hdd0/exdata

This issue has been noted. When updates for songs roll out, we will be directly archiving the song folder and dta, there will not be an extra folder. This is mainly to save time for every one, on console or on emulator. It was just a mistake I made where I was packaging it one way and then suddenly I started packaging them another way.
