At first I thought it said all the songs were hand written by the authors. Phew. That would be hilarious though.

I am as well. I have yet to work on my favorite band, and that’s because they’re a little lesser known, and probably would take a while to author. But I may do some of their songs one day.

For New Year my mate and his other half are having a house party and they have requested I bring Rock Band, cannot wait to show how many excellent songs I have added all thanks the C3 authors.
But seriously I cannot thank you guys enough this year, RB was on its last legs for me after the store closed. Your hard work and dedication has made sure RB will go into 2014 stronger than ever!

My sentiments as well, I still play RB 3 to 4 times a week and just bought a new cymbal boost box from the Kickbox guys, sad to see Harmonix basically abandon RB like they have but at least WE have C3 to keep things alive for us hardcores, thanks to mostly the authors and admin but also all the members here for helping support their efforts!
^^Same goes for me. I play minimum 3 times a week. I enjoy when that moment comes I say to myself “Oh YEAH, I forgot C3 authored that.” I can’t scroll down to it fast enough. Then I get loaded and want to send a drunken “I love you guys” message on the forum. Fortunately that subsides and instead I just end up texting my ex-girlfriend.
This site is the best thing to happen to Rock Band in years. Thank you all so much for all your hard work in providing the community with the very best customs I have ever played.

I have to go first?! Why? I’m really bad at this. Is this thing on? Check. Check. Alright. Let’s do this.Hi, I’m TrojanNemo. Unlike most of you, my first rhythm games were GH Warriors of Rock and Rock Band 3. So prior to late 2010, I didn’t know what GH/RB was…at all! Needless to say life was never the same after I picked up my first plastic guitar. In a similar way, I didn’t know about customs until Harmonix decided they were going to kill them. So the day TU5 was released, was the first day I learned that customs were a thing…and my life changed again. I found the GHtoRB3 team and was so impressed with the quality of their work and dedication that I decided to try to convert some songs too. The GHtoRB3 team helped me learn the ropes and on December 2011 my first songs were released (GH WoR’s Rocky Horror Picture Show pack) and the rest is history. Even though this is about me, I want to take a couple of lines to thank the GHtoRB3 team for all they did. In my eyes they were the real trailblazers of quality customs and without whom I know, 100%, I would not have been involved in customs and consequently, would not have been a part of C3!
If you’ve followed my releases since the old days back on Xbox360ISO you probably noticed my “musical tastes†are all over the place. I don’t have any one band I’m obsessive about, I like a little bit of everything and I think my customs reflect that. I have to say that one of the best things about Rock Band’s impact in my life is how it opened my eyes to worlds of music I didn’t know even existed and now truly enjoy. But I suspect that’s the same for most of us here. With that in mind, I chose this song as my present to you because 1) it’s Queen 2) it’s extremely fun on all instruments 3) it’s got a great message and 4) it’s Queen! Even if you haven’t heard it, give it a try. You will love it. And if you’re a guitar player, I got three words for you: Spanish Guitar solo!
This is also a bittersweet moment for me. This is not only the song I picked to gift you for Christmas, but this will also be the last song I ever author. As some of you may already know, my time at C3 is coming to a close. For the last few months I had an abundance of free time, and I tried my best to dedicate most of it to helping C3 become what it is today. Unfortunately, life moves on and a new chapter in my life begins next year that will prevent me from being involved in the community. I will be around for the remainder of December and maybe the first couple of weeks of January, but by February I’ll be gone and most likely will not return. This is a sad moment because, well, I’ve been here since the start and this has definitely been my dearest project to date. But it’s also a happy moment, because I leave a community that a few months ago was fragmented and barely hanging on, as what I consider to be the strongest presence in customs ever, with nearly 600 songs in our database, over 500 forum members, a group of extremely talented authors and very dedicated team of admins who I know will keep C3 rocking well after I’m gone. I hope that my contributions will make a difference, however small, in keeping this great community alive. Happy Holidays!
Nemo is the glue that holds a lot of C3 together, and it’s not going to be the same without him.

Anyways. Nemo, I don’t know much about ye’ but you are a cool person and you actually did helped me back when I was only on ScoreHero for customs. I remember ye’ linking me all the Xbox ISO stuff and all… Still have that PM, I think… Since you said you wont be around for next year, well I salute you then. Some people maybe sad about this but I am glad cause it can mean that you are going forward in your life and simply don’t have time for this type of work (Which pretty much happens to famous/grand modders of all kinds that are leaving). So I wish for de’ best in your life.
