Idk if anyone cares, but I’m almost done with “TesseracT – Resist”, I just need to do PK and it’ll be ready.

 

Also, what are people’s opinion on ghost notes?

The first verse (or chorus?) of “TesseracT – Hexes” has a great deal of ghost snares, to the point that it’s almost all 8th notes. There’s obviously some normal snare hits, but SO many ghosts.

It kind of, imo, seems off to play with the ghost notes, but I don’t know what would be “proper”.

 

This is the song, and the part I’m referring to is at about 1:17.

Ghost notes should be identifiable or make rhythmic sense. If all notes look the same and there is no rhythmic value to it, drop them.

By “identifiable“, you mean clear enough to hear, right?

They are very hear-able, it’s just hard to get into rhythm, but it does keep with the rhythm.

For those that don’t know, “Greg Puciato”, vocalist for “The Dillinger Escape Plan”, started this new band with previous “Nine Inch Nails” member, “Josh Eustis”, and their first album will be released in Jan. 2016.

I updated the OP with some more stuff I’m working on. So lots of Alestorm, Children Of Bodom, Born Of Osiris, and some Stone Sour.

 

To be more specific:

I’m almost done with “Alestorm – 1741 (The Battle of Cartagena), the only thing left is unpitched vox.

Same for “Children of Bodom – Cry of The Nihilist”, which needs vox and PK.

 

I’m also currently working on “Stone Sour – Gone Sovereign”.

I’ll also be doing plenty of more songs from both House of Gold and Bones albums, and maybe some others.

“Stone Sour – Gone Sovereign” is done and ready for upload, but I’m waiting until I finish “Absolute Zero”, so I can release them together.

“Absolute Zero” is almost done, just need to finish the vox.

 

I’m also getting close to finishing “In This Moment – Whore”.

I’ve had G/D done for a while, as an unreleased chart, so why not make it full band?

 

I fixed up the G/D parts and added bass and keys. I’ll be doing PK and Harms as well, but the harms will be unpitched.

So I’ll release that once I finish it.

I just found out “Enter Shikari” just released a new single called “Redshift”, so guess who’s gonna do it?

I’m prob just gonna do the basics, maybe un-pitched harms.

I’ll get to it when I finish some of the stuff I’m working on.

I am bringing my BMTH customs from FoF to here, and adding more to them.

 

Just finished Pro Keys on “Happy Song”, so just un-pitched harmonies, OD, and fills to do.

After that, I’ll work on “True Friends”, then “Avalanche” and “What You Need”.

 

I also did guitar on “Pray For Plagues (Live)” from their live DVD/CD, so that will be up sooner than the rest. I’ll probably add everything else eventually.
