GepMemberI rebuilt my system and am running Win 10 Fall Creators 64-bit AND trying to refresh my feeble memory on some customs basics.
Python 2.7.9 32-bit
Reaper 4.22
I’m trying to get everything running with customs the way I had it a little over a year ago.
When I run C3 Automation Tools, it pops up correctly
Create beat track works.
Create phrase markers does not do anything.
Drum reductions do not do anything.
The Events track is showing the verses (1A,1B….etc)
I’m thinking I missed/forgot some default event marker.
It detects if I have a phrase marker already in VOX,so I believe Python is working properly with Reaper.
The project I’m working on started with the proper template.
My guess is this is a brain fart on my end with my setup.
Am I missing something simple/obvious??

BornGamerRobParticipantFor the reductions, ensure you don’t have any notes placed outside of the normal marker rows. A telltale sign is if you hit the Reduce button and all the checkmarks instantly disappear from the other reduction areas (Hard, Medium and Easy), you have a note in a invalid location and it must be found and eliminated before auto reductions will work.

FarottoneKeymasterOn top of that, make sure the template is correct and, while obvious, that you’re using @ to mark the beginning of each phrase.

GepMemberUnderstand the drum answer but not the@ thing for phrases. Is that in user manual for the tool?

FarottoneKeymasterOf course.

GepMemberTy.
My biggest hurdle is that I took an extended break from charting.
It challenging to spin everything up again.

GepMemberYeah…..dumbass mistakes on my part.
Illegal notes in drum track were the issue there.
On VOX, I apparently have never utilized auto phrasing b/c none of my previous lyric files used @.
That’s new stuff for me.
Thanks for the great tips!
Fixed it all!

GepMemberSo one last issue, Shift+L lyric apply is not doing anything.
I believe my text file is solid.
Checked all the Reaper settings and they look good.
I tried this on an older project that previously worked and I’m seeing the same lack of functionality.
