I have been having a problem lately, in which, when i’m playing a song, the game just crashes and a lot of stripes appear in the screen. I have been playing for like a year and this started to happen a couple of days.

I download the cons from internet (I live in Argentina, no xbox support here), and I have like 250 songs.

It’s very weird, sometimes I can be playing for like 2 hours and the game works perfect, but sometimes I play for 10 minutes and suddenly the game crashes <img decoding=” src=”/wp-content/uploads/invision_emoticons/default_SA_frown.gif” />

The song I was playing is “N.I.B.” by Black Sabbath.

That seems like your Xbox is about to kick the bucket, if I would have to guess.

No, this only happens with Rock Band 3

I deleted the song cache, i could play an entire song that used to crash, now im gonna try with a couple more :ohdear:

So? That’s still a problem with the Xbox. Not with the song. Either your game installation is corrupt, which would be weird that it works at all – or your Xbox is overheating and causing artifacting. But that’s a problem with the Xbox side of things, not the songs themselves.

Looks like your xbox GPU has cracked solder. Needs a reflow of solder. You should get some sort of red ring error very soon.

That’s from heat. Rock Band and Guitar Hero seem to make the Xbox 360 run harder and hotter than other games. Not sure why, but that is why it is only happening on Rock Band 3. How you haven’t got RROD from this is a mystery. I would take the xbox apart and clean it. See if that helps it run cooler. Your xbox is on that razors edge of RRODing.

Yep I can confirm what everyone else is saying, that is exactly how my first xbox looked about a month before it croaked for good. You might want to back up your saves and what not.

My first 360 did somewhat the same thing. The graphics went all weird but I could still play…..until I shut it off and then it RRoD. It’s well on it’s way. I’m surprised after the amount of times you’ve said it’s done this that it HASN’T RRoD yet.
