I discovered this community about 2 months ago and my family has been enjoying rocking out to new songs almost every time I come home from a wifi connection and I really want to thank this site for it. I’m also trying to learn how to create my own customs almost on my own at home and I think I’m on track with that too, or at least I’m going to claim I am as I haven’t finished a song yet.
Anyway on to my problem, I’ve purchased quite a few songs from the RBN and for a while now I haven’t had internet access at home. I know this is due to having not transferred the download rights to my console when I purchased a new one nearly a year ago and the only reason they worked is because my Gamertag was signed in online. These songs that I purchased will no longer load on my console without an internet connection which really bothers me. I mean I did pay for them after all, I should be able to play my content. Is there a way to use any of the tools offered for customs to fix that and allow me to use my content? Or am I out of luck and stuck staring at songs that I can’t play?
No matter the outcome I want to thank this community again and when I have an active internet connection at home I hope to be an active uploader if I have the tools down by then. Also I hope this was the right place to post this issue as I didn’t know where else to do it.

You can use C3 CON Tools to convert the DLC that is on your Xbox into CON files. This effectively converts them into customs so you won’t be able to play with them online. Much easier and less time intensive is to take the Xbox to a cafe somewhere and use their WIFI to fix the issue.
August 8, 2014 at 5:53 pm #426691As long as its possible that’s all I needed to know I’ll try and figure it out. I only did read the post that was linked to me before I posted and then again to see if I missed anything after it was linked here and I don’t recall seeing anything other than saying to download everything again. Thanks for giving me a hope nemo.

August 8, 2014 at 10:11 pm #426713I might end up adding that functionality from DLCXplorer into C3 CON Tools given where we are in the state of RB3…
If you’re willing to completely give up online play (even with the official DLC), you can transfer all the DLC files to the computer, use Batch Renamer to rename the files (they’ll have hash strings for names), then put them in folders of up to 4GB each, and use Pack Creator to create packs. I have all my DLC in 14 4GB packs = 1700 files or so loading as quickly as the game loads 14 files, rather than taking the time normally would take for so many files. This process also would fix the issue of the songs not working because of a missing license…but remember now they’d be seen as customs by the game. So no online play even if you put TU5 back on.

I have 1400 songs and when i have to delete the cache and start the game, it takes like 5 minutes to rescan them. So what you’re saying is, If I take all my customs and move them to my computer, then create packs out of them, they will load a lot faster?
