I have been charting a song and once it hits a certain part of the song, the tempo goes haywire and makes the song unplayable. However in reaper everything is tempo mapped perfectly and it appears perfect when using the rockband network preview. I have tried everything and cant get this dam thing to work. Any tips? In all my 50+ charts that I have made this has never happened
Happens when there is an invalid TS change – maybe check that.
If you declare say a 6/4, you must make sure there are 6 bars before you switch it. Just a thought
Make sure the play rate is at 1x (100% speed) when rendering. Make sure that “embed tempo” is checked when exporting the midi file.

I assume you mean 6 beats and not 6 bars.

As Alternity warned, this happened to me when the PLAY RATE on a song was set to 0.94 or 0.96 (forget which), but it was minor and I didn’t notice in in Reaper, but come play time…yikes. Make sure that little lower-middle horizontal bar says 1.0
