So, let’s say that I own a song that’s on RBN: can I do a re-recording and re-chart it and post it, without invoking repercussions for C3?
What do you mean by re-recording; as in a cover of them song played by yourself? Yes. If it’s the same version of the song that’s on RBN then very highly likely no.
If you meant a re-recording by the same artist as long as you emphasize it’s a re-recording and don’t use any properties from the RBN song then it’s okay.

What do you mean that you own it? Is it a song you recorded? If so you are free to do as you wish, we actually more than a few RBN artists/authors who released through us.
