So I’m currently trying to test a song I am working on. I had one good play but then every time I try after it says:

“The song data you were accessing has become unavailable, and the game cannot proceed without it. Your game session has restarted.”

It will continuously do this no matter how many times I rebuild the file. All the other songs I have made and tested work fine with no such error.

    Any ideas?

Many things can break a song. Given what happens, the most probable offender is a long song ID. How long is the RBA filename? Or, if you’re not using rb3maker, how long is the song ID? Try using a shorter song ID, if the current song ID is long.

The RBA is actually quite long, longer than I thought. Definitely longer than than the previous songs I have made. I’ll shorten it out when I rebuild it for the xth time. I’ll let you know how it goes. As far as the song itself, its 6:21 in length. I know that sometimes long songs can do that, but I have only heard of it affecting the magma process when its 10+ minutes.

No, song’s length has nothing to do with it, it’s the song’s *filename*, because rb3maker uses filename as song ID. Point is, a long song ID will break the game.

Seems to have worked. Here’s hoping it doesn’t crash after first play! Thanks!

        Hey Guys,

I have the same problem but it appears to only be happening to my Corona Xbox, however my Jasper Xbox doesn’t have the issue and both have the exact same custom song packs loaded. Both have 30 song packs consisting of original RB1,2 & 3 repacked and mixed in with custom songs as well – each pack just under 4gb.

Considering you mentioned the motherboard, are you using a RGH? RGH Corona’s have issues with HMX games.

Yah, I’m using RGH Corona and I’m using a modified default.xex for RB3 and from what I remember it was working fine until I decided to delete songs I thought I’d never play not realizing it would give me the missing song error and later I also wanted to unlock the various rewards within the game but I needed the erased songs to accomplish that. Luckily I still had RB1,2,3 on my other xbox so I repacked all the songs from all three games and loaded them up on the Corona thinking it would fix the problem but nope! Anyone have any ideas or suggestions? Thanks in advance!
