After spending a couple of weeks in what i can only describe as “Moving House Hell”, only to have that followed by a few more weeks spent playing the “now try fit all ur stuff in a much smaller house” game; i can’t think of a better way to celebrate finally having all my stuff set up, than to spend the weekend playing thru all the instruments in the massive SP setlist i’m able to put together right now thanks to all of ur hard work.
Saying thanks just doesn’t seem to convey the appreciation for the total joy i’ve felt since clicking on ur thread a few minutes ago!!!
So seriously dude, Thankyou.
You Rock

September 3, 2016 at 3:59 am #474400Thank you so much for this amazing project. I would have never dreamed of so many of my favorite SP songs on RB. I’ve had such a blast playing through them. I can’t wait to try Bodies for the first time tomorrow. I already couldn’t believe playing Ava Adore, XYU, Disarm, Geek USA, Mayonaise, Perfect, and Rocket would ever happen. I broke out Oceania and Zeitgeist on the way to work again. Now I want another Pumpkins show to come through here!

If you’re only familiar with Smashing Pumpkins singles and maybe want to get more into the band, I highly suggest you check this track out, it’s a classic.
Clocking in at just under 7 minutes (6:58), this song doesn’t have a repetitive bone in its body. This is where the warm, fuzzy tones of Siamese Dream come to shine on guitar, which has 3 solos spread throughout the song. Bass is full of HO/PO and is quite enjoyable all around. Drums are the highest difficulty instrument as Jimmy really lets his jazz roots take hold of the song about 4:30 in.
I cleaned up the OP song listings to appear more organized. Siamese Dream only has 4 more to go…

You may know 1979, but do you know the distorted rocker that comes right after it?
This is the very song that inspired me to tackle this full band discography in the first place. The first time I listened to it with high quality headphones, I couldn’t help but picture how awesome it would look in a full-band game. I will warn though, with its heavily distorted vocals, this song is very polarizing to the Smashing Pumpkins fan base (though I enjoy it).
September 18, 2016 at 10:34 pm #475095I love this kind of projects, I’m very glad you are tackling it. ” src=”/wp-content/uploads/invision_emoticons/default_SA_smile.gif”>

September 21, 2016 at 1:34 am #475203I played Hummer on guitar today and had a blast. Congratulations on a fantastic job of charting and lighting the scene to give it that extra something for the atmosphere. Thank you.
September 21, 2016 at 4:26 pm #475215now that was a devil tier song!

now that was a devil tier song!
” src=”/wp-content/uploads/invision_emoticons/default_SA_smile.gif” /> I’d say though that An Ode to No One is probably the harder one between the two.

Awesome! can’t wait to have a crack at this tune.
Have really enjoyed all of ur charts so far, but if i had to pick a fav right now, it’d be a toss up between the guitar chart for ‘Hummer’ & the prodrum chart for ‘Thru the Eyes Of Ruby.’ Closely followed by the ‘Here is no why’ charts across all instruments.
Thanks for all ur time & effort, You Rock
