The Aeroplane Flies High is a boxset released in 1996 that contains 5 CDs featuring 28 additional songs
recorded during the Mellon Collie period that were not featured on the album. Each CD is an expansion of
one of the 5 singles that were released from the Mellon Collie and the Infinite Sadness album.
Finishing disc 2 – 1979!
The third song now to appear by guitarist James Iha.
This one was previously released, but I have released an update with the drum chart reworked in certain parts.
On to Zero where the fun really takes off!

At this point I’m currently leaning towards releasing a cut-only version. I was probably only going to change my mind if the poll was overwhelmingly “No”.
Of course I can always release 2 versions, though I am real curious as to why so many of you are opposed to the cut. Have you listened to Pastichio Medley all the way through? It’s a chore to listen to, but a blast to play in Rock Band. If you watch my video of the drum chart, which has the cut audio, I hope you would see that the cut is tasteful and really does not take away from the “Medley”.

Big release today! Here’s all of the Zero Disc minus the last song (Pastichio Medley).
First up is Zero, the third single from Mellon Collie (and released by Harmonix)
I have an update for the second track, God. Added a few snare hits on drums and changed
the difficulty to devil heads!
Now for the “new” tracks!
My personal favorite song from The Aeroplane Flies High. It just rocks!
Three guitar solos, a drum solo, and a killer bass riff near the end that can be a bit tricky.
Oh, and it’s an instrumental! My first SP instrumental?

This one sounds a bit different from the rest. Not as heavy, but still fantastic!
With this release, I’ll be taking a break from “Traverse the Box” Tuesdays for awhile. I will eventually return with Pastichio Medley, but I’d rather spend some time on some other songs first (particularly some non-SP songs).

Probably not, I’m hoping that the prospect of doing that one will get me through the ones before it (since they won’t be as fun). I’m about halfway done with Pastichio Medley’s guitar, so I might return to TAFH sooner rather than later.
