I am currently working on my next effort – a personal favourite ‘World on Fire’ by Slash.
I have so far authored the Drums which has proved to be quite a challenge. The transition of 62 BPM from my very first effort to this – @ 172 BPM is quite significant. However, I really dont have too much of an idea on how to begin to author Slashs’ frenetic’ guitar stuff.
Is anyone able to spare a few moments to author a short section of one of the trickier sections for me that I could then use as a template to follow and author the rest of the guitar in this song please? This would be a very great help.
The time taken so far has been significant getting the Drums as perfect as I can get them- I wouldnt want to go ‘my own way’ interpreting the guitar riffs and then find out that I have not done them correctly after putting all the effort in and possibly needing to redo completely at a later time.
Also, one other thing – after the Reaper assigned count-in, the song intro starts on the closed hi-hat, there then follows a four beat ‘cow-bell’ hit before all instruments come in. I cant find anything to suggest which pad the cow-bell hits should be assigned to… Yellow or Blue tom perhaps…?
If anyone is interested in helping, I will update this thread with a link for the reaper prj and audio files..
Thank you.
I can’t wait to see this song. Thanks so much for doing slash!
Thanks for the Slash songs! I hope to see “Anatasia” some day!
At risk of repeating myself.. if any budding Expert guitarists out there reckon they can help me out with the outro to this Slash song it would be appreciated.
