Funny thing is that I heard this song on the radio the other day and then I saw it in Oscarj08’s thread and said. Lets do it! Authored by Oscarj08 and then I converted it to RB3 and added overdrive and drum fills.

 

 

This goes horribly out of sync in the middle almost all the way til the end.

Might be just me. Can anyone confirm?

Did you download the V2 Con off of the first page? Its looks perfect in Reaper but I havnt had a chance to play these updates in game yet.

I now bring you some Neil Peart goodness. Rush “Caress of Steel” album converts. Oscarj08 charted “I Think I’m Going Bald”, “Lakeside Park”, and The Fountain of Lamneth”. Narutostarwars charted “The Necromancer” featuring guitar and bass as well. The Fountain of Lamneth has a crazy difficult drum solo. I added overdrive, drum fills, and roll marker lanes. Doing a request by oscarj08 really quick. This custom already exists and is fully charted by Nyxyxylyth. This version is an alternate drums and keys version. If this song ever becomes a C3 release I have no problems taking it down.

This isn’t very polite – I’m still around, and nobody said a word to me. Can you please take it down and I’ll FtV it next week with oscarj08’s drum changes?

 

Also: what changed on keys?

I honestly have no idea what all the changes are. Just mainly that the drum chart and keys are different than yours. I’ll take it down. Its up to you if you want to use Oscarj08’s new drum and keys chart.

As an aside, unofficial official protocol for anything akin to this in the future (e.g. authoring derivative work based on something an active author, C3 or otherwise, has created) should, at the very least, include a courtesy PM (but ideally have their consent).

 

Most C3 authors would like to FtV their back catalogue eventually, so I’d consider those particularly taboo, but it may be worth approaching them as they may be willing to take collabs/suggested changes into account, as was the case here.

it is an old chart of mine of fire on high i wanted to do my own version cause its one of my favorite elo songs and a friend of mine requested a rework from me of this song, so this is basically my work and doesnt include others work, doesnt include vocals and pro for example. about guitar, keys & bass are slightly different (i guess yours is even better) but all is charted from the scratch by me, even the audio & tempo isnt the same. I saw this song wasnt relased officially by C3, thats cause i dont see any problem, same thing happen when i did Dogs by pink floyd and later it was relased by C3, i dont care is my own version.

 

If you want to combine this with yours obviously you can, i like a lot your work,, this isnt plagiarism or something like that, everyone can have errors is normal, if it bother you it wont be posted anywhere, but remember is all my work.

yup, it may look similar to Nyxyxylyth but no, as i said i charted all from the scratch, thats why i think it can be posted.

added roll lane marker for fast snare roll.

repositioned some drum fills that were eating up some flam hits.

cleaned up some drum roll notes that were a little bit off in my opinion.
