@ samjjones
Its great to see you doing reductions. I just downloaded “I Can’t Quit you Baby” and the visualizer has the expert icon. I would make sure the CAT symbol is tickered to avoid confusion.
Thanks for taking a look. That’s weird; I’m pretty sure that I had only the “CAT” icon checked *on* in Magma. I’ll re-compile and re-post sometime this weekend.
September 26, 2015 at 2:20 am #455933In order for me and Nyx to get involved we definitely need an ordered spreadsheet or similar with a list of all songs grouped by albums with what is in TBRB, what is available as customs through C3 and which songs still needs to be released with what is available for them, from which author with link and what is missing (as in, keys but only where applicable, harmonies but only where applicable, etc.) Anybody can take care of this?

I have a hunch why “I Can’t Quit You Baby” is showing up as expert. The reason being is that the song has Pro Guitar charted in the midi. CAT does not do reductions on Pro Guitar/Bass charts.

I can do it if that’s alright. It’s the least I can do to give back to the community for the enjoyment I’ve received from your and all the other charters’ hard work.
September 26, 2015 at 1:36 pm #455963No preferences personally on how does it, it just needs to be a clean job with everything sorted out. If you can do that, hop on board. ” src=”/wp-content/uploads/invision_emoticons/default_SA_wink.gif”>
September 26, 2015 at 1:56 pm #455964I’d be so down to help out with a Beatles discog project

I’ll whip something up. When I have a basic template made, I’ll post a link to the spreadsheet so I can get feedback.
September 26, 2015 at 4:50 pm #455977Here is a link to what I’ve got so far. Is the design good, and do I need to change or add any columns?

i thinks is good, only add another column for visualizers
here is all i have updated to this date: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1EJ4XyjdcI6shA9qdZgTlORngSf1khtCKWhgQsaJ9hZM/edit#gid=3
September 26, 2015 at 5:26 pm #455986It looks good but the 2 instrument columns are not practical, we need a column per instrument: it’s gonna be empty if we have no chart for it, it’s gonna have the name of the author if we have it. Not sure how important it is to know we need reductions for a specific part but we need a “verified” field for each instrument probably for when we start vetting. No need to do a Keys? field, the Keys field in the intruments part of the sheet will address that. Once all the prepping is done available songs need to be crossed out, etc. Good job. ” src=”/wp-content/uploads/invision_emoticons/default_SA_smile.gif”>
September 26, 2015 at 6:13 pm #455990I actually worked on one the other day using TrojanNemo’s spreadsheet as a template:
https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1EtZKx0FhMKCR12wXQ3E1Pgv3Vi5gDvyO-lA21mvGIqI/edit?usp=sharing
I still need to add the rest of Sideshow/Oscar’s charts, but I did go through all the sheet music I have and highlighted which have keys parts to chart and which don’t.
I’m thinking of just combining the Keys/Pro Keys fields b/c no one should really chart one without the other anyways. As for Pro G/B, I think that’s more of a special bonus that probably won’t get charted for most songs, maybe we should just make a field (Pro G/B?) or something like that.
Also, I like Farottone’s idea of marking the ones that have been verified, perhaps with bold or a darker shading?
September 26, 2015 at 6:45 pm #455992That looks sassy.
September 26, 2015 at 7:05 pm #455993Here is 35 new songs to play from the Eagles, ELO, Rod Stewart, Stevie Ray Vaughan and Double Trouble, and The Doors! The Eagles is one of those top selling bands of all time that hasn’t appeared in a Rock Band game yet. I was expecting to see a popular song from them such as Hotel California to appear on the RB4 disc but there still is hope for a DLC appearance. The songs included here are two tracks each off of their first two albums and the remaining songs to complete their 3rd and 4th albums. All guitar and drum charts by Oscarj08 while I added OD, drum fill lanes, solo markers, and compiling. The project files for these songs will be posted in case other authors would like to contribute.

Electric Light Orchestra’s “Face the Music” album is now fully playable on drums. All of these songs are pleasant to the ears and with my pick being “Poker” really awesome on drums. All drum charts by Oscarj08 while I added OD, drum fill lanes, and compiling.

Here is a single from Rod Stewart’s eighth album “Foot Loose and Fancy Free”. Not to be confused with the RBN song of the same name. Guitar and drums charted by Oscarj08 and you know what I did already. Yep I sound like a repeating record.

You know already we got the full album Texas Flood as official DLC? Well here is a 3 pack from Stevie Ray Vaughan and Double Trouble. Oscarj did the drum charst once again. Yes, I know these are desperately missing guitar.

Bet you never thought that this doors album would make it into rock band! This is quite a strange release as its all original music from the remaining members of The Doors seven years after Jim Morrison died. The crazy thing is that they put pre recorded poetry from Jim into the songs that were recorded from 1969 and 1970. What can I tell you, People are Strange. All drum charts are by Oscarj08 while the guitar charts are by Missingno42128. Enjoy the last album released by The Doors.
