My second bass chart and the first thats made it into a custom.

Not the easiest song to do (holy ….).

Before these custom releases I wasn’t much into Porcupine Tree but now I am a big fan. The last couple of albums were a blast to play. Thank you very much to all involved for your hard work and effort, much appreciated.

Yeah, I was at one point considering doing all of “Awake” (honestly my second favorite DT album, with SFoM being #1 and IaW being #3), but I was thinking that C3 would probably beat me to it. In fact, I was going to do a third track from Black Clouds and Silver Linings (that I won’t mention nor give any clue towards), but I actually got a PM from a C3 author who told me he was currently working on that song for a future C3 release.

 

As is, I’ve sent “The Count of Tuscany,” “Endless Sacrifice,” and “Breaking All Illusions” to Sideshow for release after Porcupine Tree 01. Given that I only have vocals to do on “A Change Of Seasons” and the last half of Bass on “Never Enough,” half the pack may be out then. Or it will be steadily released over the course of May.

 

 

I hope you’re right lol. Awake is definitely my favorite DT album

 

Also just curious, how much 22-fret pro guitar is in that one song?

 

I have the 17 fret button guitar instead of the “real” one

hi sideshow, i finally contated with my old friend, ivanmq1 (helped me with some guitar charts) he plays guitar and bass in real life. he is back at charting and is interested on add guitar and bass to many of my charts, also he is going to fix some guitar charts i did and eventually the whole beatles discography.

 

so plz, i need to know on what guitar-bass adding to my charts are people working (missigno, chips, meander, voc, etcc..) to start working on other songs.

Hey, just want to let you know that the pro guitar chart for “Normal” is a little messed up: About 5 minutes in when the heavy part starts there are a bunch of chords with no numbers on them that don’t work (I think they are supposed to be played on certain frets, but the numbers don’t show up) similar to Anesthetize

Thanks for letting me know although Magma didn’t tell me anything was wrong. I would need somebody much more knowledgeable in Pro Guitar to look at the chart and see whats going on.

 

This is the start of the heavy part on Pro Guitar. Looks like the chords have numbers in Reaper

I tried just randomly holding 5 across the board for a few seconds in the section and some of the chords (which ALL appeared to have no numbers) worked and some didn’t. So I think the game knows the numbers, it just isn’t showing them for some reason.

 

The same thing happened in anesthetize in some places

I’m gonna try to do Pigs (3 Different Ones) by Pink Floyd and “The 12 Step Suite” by Dream Theater.

 

“The 12 Step Suite” is not going to work for reductions. I barely have notes on the lower difficulties just to get the song to compile. If your going to do Pigs (3 Different Ones) I recommend deleting the (prc_intro) text event located at the beginning of the “EVENTS” track. That way people can actually practice the song. I messed up on a whole bunch of customs and left that one event in by accident. All my most recent customs as of the “Dead Wing” album don’t have it. If I do any updates to my older songs I will make sure that text event is gone.

 

“Pigs” will be in the CAT Redux Pack: Sideshow Edition.

Sorry for mentioning a song, that you have probably been long done with for over a year now, but is Neverending Story all difficulties? Con Tools say Expert Only, if that the case would you mind doing a quick and simple CAT reduction.
