Oscarj08 is back at it for charting and he gave me the Lizard album to convert from phaseshift. I added overdrive and drum fills to the songs but all other charting is credited to Oscarj08. The song “Lizard” is charted by narutostarwars123456 and I released this song last year. All I did was recompile the song so it now has a unique song id. A newer version of “Lizard” may come out in the future with charting fixes. I’m still contemplating to make preview videos. The reason is because some asshole flagged most of my previously released King Crimson videos on youtube and I have a feeling it might happen again for this album. Enjoy this jazz centric album from one of the earliest prog bands in the existence of Rock.

I’m also proud to announce that starting in the next update for the Rock Band Harmonies Project, you will see Pro Drum upgrades by me! I decided to tackle the 370+ RBN1.0 songs that need Pro Tom Markers. Its going to take all year to finish these songs but I want to do it and get all the songs done around the same time Espher finishes charting harmonies for the official DLC before RB3 came out. This means that customs will be coming out at a snails pace but there is still plans to do converts and customs. i love what mcullogh did on lizard, was the perfect replace of giles, simply is other perspective to play the drums, enjoyed a lot charting and playing the album, hope all of you enjoy it too.

Just played through all the new Crimson tracks. Fabulous drumming on all but got to say Cirkus is my favorite. Great job Oscar J and Sideshow.

If I were to add guitar it would probably be expert only. I don’t really enjoy charting guitar and bass but I could do it if I was really motivated. ” src=”/wp-content/uploads/invision_emoticons/default_SA_cheeky.001.gif” /> I’ll keep it in mind. Thanks for the request.

I like the challenge of trying to nail those rolls. Since they’re so frequent I think it’s best to leave them as is.

That would be awesome if you did. I don’t know how to ‘really motivate’ you? Maybe spread the word on other phase shift forums to check out your thread on here? I’m trying…. lol

I did what I though was the right way to convert the file, but it came up as a demo. I’m not quite sure how to convert the live file into a con. Could you (or someone) give me some help?

All I did was use “Con Explorer” within C3 Con Tools. Open the LIVE file within Con Explorer and then save as a CON. The newly saved con should work in your customs environment.

I hereby bring forth the remaining Pink Floyd songs that were in need to convert from Phaseshift to RB3. The box art above is by no means an official representation done by Harmonix but I found it on the internet and it fits this release quite nicely. Lets get some facts out of the way that encompass all the customs in this release:

1. All songs are charted by Oscarj08 except, Esquilax charted the guitar for “Pigs(Three Different Ones)” and “Sheep”, I charted “Learning to Fly”.

2. All songs contain overdrive, band unisons, drum fill activation lanes, and solo markers if applicable done by me.

3. Many songs, especially from “The Wall” have keys parts charted into the guitar chart ala Guitar Hero style.

4. No songs contain Bass or Vocals except “Money” but may be added at a later date.

5. Floydian has released several of these songs in his thread but I don’t believe they have overdrive which is why I reconverted them.

Meddle(1971)

I previously released these songs way back last year but I decided to re release them with slightly better artwork and unique song ID. Other than that, no other changes have been done to the charts. Remember that “San Tropez” was released by C3 which is why you don’t see it here.

The Darkside of the Moon(1973)

All the songs that I released before have higher quality artwork and now a unique song id. Those of you who grabbed “Money” from the repository may want to get this new release. This new version of “Money” contains a completely reworked drum track by Oscarj08 and its quite awesome. It also contains a Pro Bass chart but oddly no Pro Guitar chart was found in the older midi. This is the 2nd best selling album worldwide next to Michael Jackson’s Thriller. “Time” can be found in the C3 database.

A few songs in here for the first time for RB3. This album really grew on me as I was doing the converts. Richard Wright and David Gilmour have sighted this to being their favorite Pink Floyd album. “Wish You Were Here” is located in the C3 database.

The Wall(1979)

About 4 of these songs are released as full band customs but I still went ahead and did them just to make this epic of an album consistent with the guitar/keys charting and numbering of the songs in order as they appeared on the original release. This is one hell of an amazing album and a brilliant send off to their outstanding 70’s career.
