November 28, 2014 at 11:16 pm #433616IDs are generated for a song when you click build if one hasn’t been before. If you already had compiled songs with previous release Magma would have kept track of IDs if you overwrote the old files with new one, or if you moved songcounterv2 from the bin folder of the old install to the new install. You still don’t have to assign ids manually. Magma will take care of the work exactly so you dont have these issues.
When I’m creating a new song with Magma and I go to the Game Data tab; it doesnt show what the next song ID is going to be unless I click the “New ID” button.

Just wanted Magma to show me what is the current song ID I’m working with for my own mental note. Its not a big deal. There should be no more conflicting song ID’s with my songs in the future unless I upgrade to a newer version of Magma and lose all my settings from the previous version. But even if that happens, I’ll just extract the DTA info from my latest built custom to find what ID # I used last.
November 28, 2014 at 11:43 pm #433621It’ll show it after its been assigned. Anytime you open that project after that it’ll have the same ID and it’ll display it.
The idea is that we don’t want to waste song IDs. “Working on a song” looks an awful lot to the program as “just dicking around, clicking on things” – so if I give you a new ID everytime you start a new project, we have the potential to waste IDs. But if you click Build, Magma knows now you mean business. If no ID is assigned, it’ll assign it and show it (so you can click Build and cancel just to see the ID). And anytime that song is opened again (say, you update it in the future), it’ll remember that ID and use it. If you want to force a song to get a new ID, that’s when you click New ID. Otherwise you should never touch that button, as you’ll be wasting IDs. You only get 99,999 songs you know.
November 29, 2014 at 2:53 am #433630As a German I can say the the “Wiener schnitzel” is called “Wienerschnitzel” and I don’t know why they always call it “Weinerschnitzel” ” src=”/wp-content/uploads/invision_emoticons/default_SA_biggrin.gif” />I actually ate at a Wienerschnitzel recently here in Southern California and when I got my credit card bill it is spelled Wienerschnitzel and not Weinerschnitzel. But when you look at the wiki for The Descendents FAT EP they spell it Weinerschnitzel. Maybe possible to prevent a lawsuit? I don’t know.

December 23, 2014 at 4:12 am #435033Here is a few songs from my favorite Christmas album. Would of liked to chart all the songs at least on drums but just didn’t get around to it due to other priorities. “A Gun for Christmas” features Brooks Wackerman on drums of the band you may have heard of called Bad Religion. At the time this came out Brooks wasn’t Bad Religions drummer but has now filled the spot for like 15 years. “Oi to the World” features Josh Freese on drums who is the main drummer for The Vandals and has played in several other bands like NIN and GNR. Josh is pretty much the Dave Grohl of punk drummers. “My First Xmas (As a Woman) features Eric Sandin on drums from NOFX. No preview videos until I get back from vacation a week from now. I also have plans to do some more RB3 custom drum videos when I get back. Enjoy!

December 23, 2014 at 7:28 am #435036I can’t believe you did “Oi to the World”! Awesome!
December 23, 2014 at 2:31 pm #435041I elect we put out a big official punk Christmas pack for next year. More punk Christmas tracks than anyone will know what to do with. I’ve already got three or four in mind.
January 11, 2015 at 10:08 pm #436001Oscarj08 is back at it for charting and he gave me the Lizard album to convert from phaseshift. I added overdrive and drum fills to the songs but all other charting is credited to Oscarj08. The song “Lizard” is charted by narutostarwars123456 and I released this song last year. All I did was recompile the song so it now has a unique song id. A newer version of “Lizard” may come out in the future with charting fixes. I’m still contemplating to make preview videos. The reason is because some asshole flagged most of my previously released King Crimson videos on youtube and I have a feeling it might happen again for this album. Enjoy this jazz centric album from one of the earliest prog bands in the existence of Rock.

I’m also proud to announce that starting in the next update for the Rock Band Harmonies Project, you will see Pro Drum upgrades by me! I decided to tackle the 370+ RBN1.0 songs that need Pro Tom Markers. Its going to take all year to finish these songs but I want to do it and get all the songs done around the same time Espher finishes charting harmonies for the official DLC before RB3 came out. This means that customs will be coming out at a snails pace but there is still plans to do converts and customs. Just don’t expect the output that I did last year. ” src=”/wp-content/uploads/invision_emoticons/default_SA_biggrin.gif” />

I just checked the RBN store and your right. “Pray for Plagues” is no longer able to purchase. Here is the single and double kick versions. You will need to use C3 Con Tools to convert to CON format as these are the LIVE format versions purchased by me on XboxLive.
