November 13, 2014 at 4:09 am #432753Cool song picks, though noticed some vocal errors in Oh Yeah when looking at the videp. Pretty sure all the lead vocals should be talkies, also you need to split words into multiple notes based on how they are pronounced. “Beautiful” is pronounced “bea- u- ti- ful” and should be charted as such instead of as one note for example. The “doo bow bow” parts on HARM2 are also too long in the note tubes and should just be like a 16th or a 8th or something. As it is I think it’s impossible to sing basically
I completely forgot about hyphenating words. This song has barely any words to it which is why I forgot to hyphenate them. I did think about making the lead vocals talkies at first but didn’t want the highway to be cluttered with talkies having all the HARM3 stuff charted as talkies. The HARM2 vocal tubes could be shortened but seemed fine when I sang them.

November 13, 2014 at 7:58 pm #432783holy crap…never expected to see Axel F and Oh yeah for the game. Nice surprise. ” src=”/wp-content/uploads/invision_emoticons/default_SA_smile.gif” /> Thanks.
November 13, 2014 at 10:03 pm #432794I would also like to see Oh Yeah fixed to have the words hyphenated, and maybe some of the drum parts reduced a bit for human playability (I noticed the intro gets really freaking intense with toms, hi-hat, and snares everywhere. It’s okay to remove some things from a drum machine (take a look at my chart of “What You Know” by Two Door Cinema Club for an example of this)).

The intro on drums for Oh Yeah was a bit difficult to decide upon. Originally I was going to scrap the bongos and just have a regular disco beat but I wanted to play the bongos. Those hi hats are undercharted for the intro but it has to be that way in order for that section to be playable. Sure it gets difficult when the snares come in but it is doable. I could take out the hi hat completely from that section or remove the bongos and just have a disco beat.
November 14, 2014 at 4:49 am #432813Updated “Oh Yeah” to V2 with the following changes:
Added hyphenated lyrics(Not that many).
Changed the laughing sections of the lead vocals to talkies.
Adjusted a few pitches.
Link is located where the original link used to be.

One thing you could do in the intro and parts like it is to
a) chart it alternating between hats and toms, as in chart the hats in the empty gaps where the toms are not
don’t chart the hi-hats at all during these sections
c), which also would work with any of the above, put in the overdubbed more audible tom hits whenever they appear instead of what is underneath it as well
That way you avoid making it into a generic disco beat while still making it fun (if you go with option A, be sure to chart it as a disco flip with flip events for when the snares come in)

November 28, 2014 at 10:39 pm #433611I Like Food isn’t appearing for meWhen I was testing this song out initially it didnt appear for me either. I think its because I assigned it the same ID as one of 3 songs I released a few weeks ago. I may have accidentally gave “Oh Yeah” a #4 which is the ID for “I Like Food”. So if you previously downloaded “Oh Yeah” it may be conflicting. Yesterday I re released those 3 songs with song ID 1,2,3 and with the newest songs from yesterday being 4,5. I tested them yesterday and they all showed up in my setlist.
November 28, 2014 at 10:52 pm #433613Why are you manually assigning song IDs to songs?
November 28, 2014 at 11:09 pm #433614Why are you manually assigning song IDs to songs? In the newest version of Magma I noticed you added the “New ID” button. I don’t see a ID appear until I click that button. The previous version of Magma didnt have that and assigned ID’s automatically. Luckily I didnt create 100’s of song ID’s to songs recently and only did it with 5 songs. I messed up assigning two songs the same ID when upgrading from one version of Magma to another because my settings weren’t saved. I’m using my C3 profile number just like the instructions say to do.
November 28, 2014 at 11:14 pm #433615IDs are generated for a song when you click build if one hasn’t been before. If you already had compiled songs with previous release Magma would have kept track of IDs if you overwrote the old files with new one, or if you moved songcounterv2 from the bin folder of the old install to the new install. You still don’t have to assign ids manually. Magma will take care of the work exactly so you dont have these issues.
