Howdy all, I have a few songs that aren’t loading in my RB3 on PS3:

 

Ace of Base – All that she wants

B52’s – Private Idaho

David Bowie – Ashes to ashes

David Bowie – The man who sold the world

King Crimson – Epitaph

OMD – Enola gay

Rush – Analog Kid

Slayer – Merciless onslaught

Wall of Voodoo – Mexican radio

Yes – The Gates of delirium

They appear in my list, but once selected I am receiving the ‘Unable to load song” message and it boots me out back to the menu. I recall seeing some thread a while ago with some tips on fixing certain songs, but can’t seem to find it.

Curious if anyone has any tips on fixing these? Thanks!

This can be multiple things. You can try converting with a different encryption type, but if they all don’t work chances are you will have to rebuild the xbox files yourself (or ask the author to try to fix for PS3) using Magma. This requires a minimum of authoring experience.

I would contact the author and ask them to run it through Magma again with a different numeric ID. If that doesn’t work, I’ve asked authors to send me their files. I then run them through Magma on my own and it usually works.
