Thanks for all your songsThe first song by Thrice that I listened was Lullaby, featured in Burnout Revenge. Can you chart this song please?
Lullaby was in Burnout? Wow I had no idea.
I didn’t chart it because I’ve never found a good quality version of the song. I thought it was just the nature of that song, but if it was in Burnout….maybe not. I’ll do some digging.
Well I stand here humbled.
I had no idea that Lullaby ever received a proper mix. And I call myself a super fan.
Excuse me while I go jam this “new” version of this song for the next 3 days straight.
I’ll chart it and add it after I’ve had a chance to QA the rest of the album.

It sounds slightly different than the Burnout version/crappy version I had in my library, but definitely in a good way. I’m very excited I found it!

No problem! I frequented AbsolutePunk for the past 5-10 years and seem to share musical interests with a lot of the major writers there, so it was the first review that came to mind haha.

Unfortunately during my vocals play testing I noticed that Red Sky is still messed up. I thought I had fixed it, but it doesn’t look like I did. I spent about an hour trying to tweak it, but something is just wrong and I can’t figure it out. I might come back to it at some point but if anybody else wants to take a crack at it in the meantime, feel free.

Wow this song turned out SO awesome! It may or may not have similar vocal “issues” to Red Sky (upon investigation with TomGuy I’m thinking maybe I just suck at singing these songs… no idea.) but everything else on it is awesome.
Also it has some fast strumming in it. I initially put them in strum lanes, but then Magma was like “NO EFF YOU” and I was like “wtf Magma why are you being like this? You let me work these into Circles and Weight Of Glory” and it was like “NO” so I ended up taking them out, and the strumming sections still worked okay. They’re not exactly on point with speed but I was able to keep combo through the entire second batch of them so…. I’ll take it.
This wraps up my first releases of #Vheissu10. Like I said before, I might add keys at some point. Really depends on when I find time to research/practice actually charting (and PLAYING) keys… So don’t hold your breath. But I would like to do it at some point.

Yes, I know it’s been quiet for awhile…. I’m neck deep in the Dark Souls 3 obsession and it’s not letting me go! I still lurk the forums though and I promise I’m not done releasing stuff! I promise!
That being said the new Blink song dropped today and I knew I had to do something. So I busted out a drums chart. I’m certainly not satisfied with the state of this custom yet but I wanted to get it out there anyway because I’m so excited for NEW BLINK FINALLY.

As of now this is Expert Drums only. Don’t kill me. I do plan on fleshing it out but no guarantees on when it will release as full band…(hopefully before the weekend is over)

Welcome to Beta-Zeni!!
This is my first build of the new Blink-182 song, “Bored To Death”.
As of now it is drums only, and they are Travis Barker so obviously they are not easy haha.
A few things to note:
-The tempo map on this is rough/non-existent. It lined up with the peaks pretty well, but I didn’t go measure by measure for this track yet. It may need some work, but I’m not sure because….
-The hi-hat on my drums is being flakey. Yeah. Perfect timing, right? It makes it really hard to tell with a song like this whether I’m playing badly, the hi-hat is being a jerk, or the song/tempo map is off. So I apologize if this release is lower quality than my past releases. I do intend on improving it if it is!!
-Travis is a better drummer than I am. There. I said it. Shocker, I know.
Honestly, this chart is hard for me! Haha. Like point 2, this makes it hard for me to guage the quality of the chart.
-This was the first time I had to chart an intricate roll (you know, soft snares, hard snares, toms all over the place, etc. I’m sure I broke some rules and I know 100% definitely it is not all charted consistently according to my own rules that I made while doing it, because playability issues came into play, so I had to adjust. It was still fun though!!
The song IS good enough/high enough quality that I was able to keep a decent streak on it after playing it in practice mode, and get close to 5 stars even though there is no overdrive charted yet.
Yes I will be making this a Full Band track. Things are crazy right now. Family stuff is crazy. I’m completely obsessed with Dark Souls 3. Work is crazy. Music is crazy. Everything is crazy. But I will be completing this hopefully by this weekend. If anybody would like to contribute/collaborate, let me know!

Well despite nobody commenting or noting excitement for the new Blink song… I LOVE IT. Finished up the Full Band treatment today. Haven’t had a chance to playtest it as my kid is asleep, but I will hopefully be able to do that tomorrow. Also hoping to start on Black Honey (Thrice) tomorrow.
Also it has 3 HARM parts! I think it’s the first song I’ve done with FULL range Harmonies. Maybe one other. Not entirely sure. Anyway, like I said I haven’t playtested them yet, but I’m crossing my fingers they turned out okay. Feel free to leave feedback!
